About Serenoa Golf Club

Welcome to Sarasota's premier public golf course! When golf course architect Mark Alden was charged with the Serenoa Golf Club project, he set out to design a course unlike typical Sarasota golf courses. His vision, combined with existing wetlands and natural lay-of-the-land, created a masterpiece that 'Florida Golf News' calls one of the top 100 courses in Florida. Alden took the modest 6,270-yard layout and made it play more like 7,200, bringing water into play on every hole to create a shot-maker's course layout. So forget the boring "tee-shot between two bunkers" game, and welcome the variety ands tiff challenge of this course. Don't miss the opportunity to play this Sarasota gem!
