About Longleaf Golf & Family Club
Longleaf Golf & Family Club is a premier golf destination in Southern Pines, North Carolina, known for its beautifully conditioned championship course. The 18-hole layout was originally designed by Dan Maples and thoughtfully remodeled by Bill Bergin, featuring all-new mini-Verde Bermuda greens and scenic playing conditions that appeal to golfers of all skill levels. As the home of the innovative Longleaf Tee System, the club offers a data-based way to scale every hole so players—from beginners to seasoned competitors—can enjoy a fair, fun, and engaging round. Open for both member and non-member play, Longleaf also includes practice facilities, a six-hole Bottlebrush short course, and opportunities for lessons and skill development. Beyond golf, Longleaf Golf & Family Club has developed into a vibrant community gathering place that emphasizes lifelong enjoyment of the sport. Members and guests can take advantage of the U.S. Kids Golf Academy, expansive practice areas including a large putting green, and the Heartwood Eatery for dining and socializing after play. With ongoing events, a relaxed club culture, and amenities designed to serve golfers and families alike, Longleaf aims to create memorable experiences both on and off the course.
