About Tidewater Golf Club
Managed by KemperSports and designed by Ken Tomlinson, Tidewater Golf Club opened in 1990 and has earned recognition as one of the premier public-access courses in South Carolina. Recently ranked No. 9 Public Golf Course in South Carolina (Golfweek, 2024) and No. 39 in America’s 100 Greatest Public Courses (Golf Digest, 2023–2024), Tidewater is celebrated for its natural Lowcountry setting and championship design. The layout winds through maritime forests and tidal marshes, featuring signature holes along the Cherry Grove marsh (#3, #4, #12, and #13) that offer rare Atlantic Ocean views. Following a complete bunker renovation in 2025, the course now showcases pristine playability and modernized design while maintaining its classic coastal character.
