The 6,698-yard, par-72 Plantation Course at Ritz-Carlton Reynolds Lake Oconee was designed originally by noted architect Bob Cupp, along with U.S. Open Champions Fuzzy Zoeller and Hubert Green. In 2005 Cupp returned to modernize and upgrade the structure of the golf course. Cupp's refinements did not affect the signature sloping of the fairways and greens, which characterizes this layout. A few bunkers were added to improve aesthetics and offer enhanced strategic quality for all levels of players. Added in 2016 as part of the course renovation is the 'Quick Six"- a unique six-hole "course within the course" that offers a variety of tee box options while utilizing the existing greens.
