Caledonia Golf & Fish Club

Caledonia Golf and Fish Club is one of the premier golf courses on the southern Grand Strand and is one of the most popular places to play golf in the Myrtle Beach area, both for vacation golfers and residents of Myrtle Beach. With exquisite Champion Bermuda greens and terrific scenery in the form of thousands of flowers and shrubs and numerous live oaks, the course is carved out coastal forest. The course regularly appears on "best of Myrtle Beach" lists, as well as top-course lists. Part of the joy of playing Caledonia is the fact that housing does not disturb the golf course whatsoever; the only residences visible from the property sit well back of play. The 18-hole layout is excellent and ends with a bang: a 383 yard par four demanding an approach shot over water to a large sloping green set at the foot of Caledonia's majestic clubhouse. Onlookers from rocking chairs on the porch will often place bets on whether players in the fairway will hit the green in regulation. Multiple practice, putting, and chipping areas with bunkers are available on-site at Caledonia. Players who wish to hit range balls before their rounds may do so at Caledonia's nearby sister course, True Blue Plantation.
