Some fun holes, but a lot of the fairways and most of the greens were not in great shape.

Lakes is one of the most beautiful courses I've played. Greens were really good.
Very well set up course. 2 special feature holes on the back nine with waterfall backdrops. Well worth a visit.

About Spanish Trail Country Club
Spanish Trail, a classic, private Las Vegas golf community minutes off of The Strip, features 27-holes of Robert Trent Jones Jr. designed golf:
The Sunrise nine, measuring 3,426 yards from the championship tees, requires a strong approach to avoid fairway bunkers, but is the most forgiving in the width of all fairways. The Sunrise course is the most traditional and straightforward of the nines but it also features one the PGA Tour's most challenging Par 3 holes - the 5th was ranked as one of the most difficult holes during the PGA Las Vegas Invitational. And of course the most desirable tee time is early enough to watch the Las Vegas sun rise.
The Lakes nine features lakes, creeks and waterfalls with water coming into play on 6 out of the 9 holes, The beautiful and scenic hole #3 is Spanish Trail Country Club's signature Par 3, measuring 180 yards with 2 lake carries. One incredibly difficult green, Lakes #3, offers a spectacular golf hole and memorable design. Lakes rates as the most difficult of the 3 nines, but it also makes for the most enjoyment!
The Canyon rates as the longest of the 3 nines, measuring 3,576 from the championship tees and is the sentimental favorite of most of the Members. Enjoy the view of the Spring Mountain Range and experience the difficult combination of risk vs. reward. Canyon offers two beautiful Par 3's- #2 features a gorgeous lake and waterfall located right next to the green and #7 is a 215- yard Par 3 framed by bunkers and desert landscape.
