Consistently rated four stars by Golf Digest since 1996 and Sarasota Magazine's "Best Place to Play Golf" for 20 years running, this course is considered by many to be one of the best in the state. Designed by Ron Garl, University Park Country Club offers 27 exhilarating holes of championship golf winding their way through natural woodlands and wetlands, all surrounded by canopies of southern live oak and slash pines. There's also a great practice facility, unique, well-equipped pro shop and casual lakeside dining. Just 50 minutes south of Tampa, two miles west of I-75 and just 15 minutes from the gulf beaches! University Park Country Club should top your list of must-play courses.
