About McCormick Ranch Golf Club Pine Course
McCormick Ranch Golf Club offers two unique courses that are tour tested and amateur approved. Both the Palm and the Pine are solid, traditional courses that have little similarity to most of the desert courses in the area. The Pine Course is characterized by narrow tree-lined fairways with mature pines in abundance. The green complexes are a bit less raised than on the Palm Course, making the Pine a little more playable for the average golfer. Arguably the toughest hole on Pine, number 15, lies 470 yards from the back tees, requiring a drive that skirts a long winding lake that's in play all the way down to the green. After landing safely on the fairway, you still need to hit almost 200 years across water to hit the island green. On property are a spacious grass driving range, a bunkered chipping green, plus one of Arizona's largest putting greens.
