About Reunion Resort

Reunion Resort is an exclusive 2,300-acre resort conveniently located near the attractions and adjacent to Disney's City of Celebration. This luxury destination resort offers the comfort of beautifully appointed one, two, or three-bedroom villas; three to eight-bedroom private residences; or luxurious suites in the Reunion Grande. Most villas border one of the three on-site championship courses and include living/dining room with private balcony or patio, fully equipped kitchen, secluded master suite and additional bedrooms. They offer golf course and/or interior garden views with option of private pool. Golf is clearly the focal point at Reunion. Reunion Resort is an exclusive 2,300-acre resort conveniently located near the attractions and adjacent to Disney's City of Celebration. The private residences are individually furnished and decorated to extremely high standards. They offer golf course and/or interior garden views with option of private pool. DVD/CD players, iron/ironing board, hair dryers, in-room safes, bathrobes, umbrellas, and all kitchenware, dishware, silverware and cooking utensils are standard in all villas and private residences, and housekeeping service is provided daily. In addition to golf, enjoy world-class amenities which include the 5-acre Reunion Water Park - complete with lazy river, slides and full poolside food and beverage service. There are also bicycle rentals, six lighted Hydro-Grid tennis courts, 9 additional swimming pools, a fitness center and full-service spa. Nicklaus still needs a clubhouse and parking lot and is separate from other two so we enjoyed the Palmer and Watson the best. Both challenging and beautiful, Arnold Palmer's 6,916-yard Legacy Course is highlighted by expansive waste areas, strategically placed bunkers, and generously wide fairways. Utilizing a combination of natural rolling terrain with mature trees, pristine natural preserve and extensive landscaping, The Legacy provides a varied menu of shot-making opportunities across all eighteen holes.

The Watson Course

A traditional, parkland style course with a windswept, native look, the 7,154-yard Independence Course offers undulating terrain unique to Florida with elevation variations as much as 45 feet from tee to green. The Parkland-style layout of Jack Nicklaus' 7,244 Tradition Course contours naturally to the landscape, flowing smoothly and gently from tee to green. Designed to be a players' course rather than what is often referred to as "resort golf," The Tradition is as deceptive as it is beautiful, tempting golfers into hitting risky shots with potentially big payoffs. With 9 of the 18 holes
involving water, the golfer is challenged to step up to the ball with a carefully organized series of shots in mind.

12/13/2007 - My foursome played the Watson & Nicklaus courses. Both were in excellent condition and the pace of play was fine. The Watson greens were slower than the Nicklaus course greens so take that into consideration when you play there.
