We were informed that course maintenance work was being carried out on the day leading up to our stay and on the day we played which we were happy to still proceed, the layout is excellent and the greens were playable even with the maintenance work which was being carried out on them. The condition of the course I would say was not at its best which is understandable when you consider how close it was after the PGA event which had been held there a few weeks beforehand. We will be returning for sure and look at a different time in the year to see if the condition is better which I am sure it will be. The staff were helpful and friendly and the history of the place is second to none. Would definitely recommend a stay and play for anyone.

What an outstanding experience. The course is in fantastic condition and the facilities are excellent. To experience the same environment as tour Pros was awesome. The course was not too difficult (off our tees) but challenging, particularly out of the rough. Loved it!
This is just a great golf course. Lot of fun to hit the shots you see the pros hit.

Played 3 rounds in 3 days with Forecaddie, Roger. Superb golf experience. Very adaptable to different players and challenging and entertaining course. Never felt crowded nor pushed. Roger was knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. Kept him for all 3 rounds. We will return
Long and challenging. We really enjoyed playing this course. Every hole brought its own challenge(s). Staff were superb, great warm up facilities. And fun to look way way back to see where the pros play from.
