It is a nice course but it wasnt in pristine conditions.
I love this course. The 18th hole is amazing you feel like you on on the tour. This course has made it into our annual trip.

A great track that is maintained extremely well. A good mix of water and sand make it somewhat challenging however, not unfair. The greens roll very true and are fast for the region. I would definitely recommend trying it if you're in the area.
Not very good. Course design was good but condition wasn't. A lot of weeds, rough fairway and pitted greens. Not up to TPC standards. Disappointing.

About TPC Eagle Trace
When TPC Eagle Trace was built in 1983, it became just the second TPC course in a network the PGA TOUR started developing around the United States (the first was TPC Sawgrass, home of The Players Championship). That's why golfers will see spectator mounds around the course, including grandstand-type seating carved into the area surrounding the 18th green. The layout has some unique characteristics for a Florida golf course, including an island green, three greens surrounded by wooden bulkheads, and it doesn't have a single palm tree on the property-a rarity in southern Florida. The 13th-hole is the signature par-4 which demands a well-struck tee shot to find the fairway as out of bounds and water protect both boundaries of the hole. And the par-4 18th is perhaps the best finishing hole in Broward County as it can be stretched out to 470 yards. All four of the par-3s require precise tee shots as water and bunkers protect each green. Guests will find six sets of tees to challenge their games. From the championship tees, the course plays to more than 7,000 yards while the most forward tees are just more than 5,100 yards.
