One of the country's premier sports, wellness and leisure destinations, the PGA National Resort & Spa has completed a 40 million dollar renovation resort-wide which has undoubtedly restored the luster to this legendary south Florida resort. Modifications can be seen with the redesign of the front entrance and continue to the renovation of the main lobby which now includes a contemporary lobby bar (iBar). Also new is the Ironwood Grille restaurant offering delicious American cuisine, expanded Business Concierge Lounge, and expanded Coffee Cafe. Guests will enjoy the elegant, completely redesigned free-form pool with lush landscaping, water features, a dedicated children's pool and play area, and the redeveloped poolside Oasis Bar & Grill. All 339 guestrooms have undergone renovations and include a private terrace or balcony and other top notch amenities (flat screen television, Asian maple wood furnishings, granite and marble appointed bathrooms, in-room safe, honor bar) and offer panoramic views overlooking the lake, pool, or golf course. The resort features 90 holes of Championship golf, including five private tournament courses designed by Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, Tom Fazio and Karl Litten. The General Course has just completed a a total redesign by its original designer Arnold Palmer. The spa is world-class and features 150 treatment rooms and areas, Waters of the World collection of mineral pools,full-service salon, Waters of the World Cafe, and Spa Boutique. |
