Hidden Hills is a private country club, unsurpassed in natural beauty with rolling terrain and stately pine and oak trees. Founded in 1965, and completely redesigned by Arnold Palmer in 1986, the course is just 20 minutes from downtown, in the secluded Fort Caroline area. The club played host to the Greater Jacksonville Open, the forerunner of what is now the Tournament Players Championship where Gary Player, Tony Jacklin and Don January were winners. Hidden Hills maintains a reputation as one of the most challenging golf courses in North Florida. The layout, with numerous elevation changes and tree-lined fairways, places a premium on shot placement in order to score well. The signature hole, number 11, is a 612-yard, par 5, which requires an approach shot to an island green.

4/10/2009 - Excellent but very difficult course. As good of shape as any we played on the trip. Hilly course for FLorida with a few real interesting and challenging holes. Better be on your game. Posted by Michael (Shelby Twp, MI)
3/27/2008 - Nicest greens of the week. No reason for three putts that day. It gets a little tight late on the front nine but we managed. Lot of tight lies in the fairways that some people would not like. Posted by Keith (Cromwell, MN).

The signature hole is #11, a 612-yard, par 5, requiring an approach shot to an island green. The terrain features many elevation changes, unusual for the northern section of Florida.
