3/26/2009 - Very enjoyable course to play, tough for the high handicapper. Play this and you will find how good you really are. Don't play well but still enjoy the variations in the course. | 6631-73.3-130 6295-69.9-123 4554-66.8-106 Las Colinas, or "The Hills," sparkled right from the beginning. Designed by former PGA Tour player Gary Koch, the course opened in 1992 with a nomination for "Best New Resort Course" by Golf Digest, "Top Fairways Award" by Golf for Women, and this year is rated with Zagat's America's Top Golf Courses 2007-2008. Las Colinas suits a drastically different style of play. The course resembles an inland links-design as shot placement is at a premium with its scenic fairways and expansive greens. |
