Customer Reviews
9/23/2008 - I was given this track since the King & Bear was under maintenance and it was a steal. This is one of the best back nines in the area, with several water holes and carries.A hidden gem. Posted by Robert (England, United Kingdom).

8/22/2008 - Course was in great shape and a lot of fun to play. Most Flordia courses I've played didn't have the generous fairways that Deercreek has and that was a nice surprise. I'd love to play it again! Posted by Gary (Hendersonvlle, TN).

3/27/2008 - Some forced carries made it tough for the wife but they treated us great and got us out for another round on a busy Saturday afternoon. Played there last year and had a good experience then also. Posted by Keith (Cromwell, MN).

3/20/2008 - Excellent, for an older course. Grass not as good as will be in a week or so. Beautiful and kicked our butts for a good score. Posted by Van (Metropolis, IL).

This private championship golf course offers a challenge and a very entertaining round. The course is a spectacular, par 71-layout, which meanders through naturally wooded uplands. An ensemble of trees frame each hole, and the abundance of water offers the golfer a difficult test of skill. At the heart of the course is a large, 285-acre natural preserve hosting a variety of Florida wildlife. So challenging is Deercreek Country Club, in 1996 it hosted the US Open Championship Local Qualifier and the USGA Senior Amateur Qualifier. Positioned in Jacksonville's most desirable location, Deercreek is just minutes from the Baymeadows and Southpoint areas, and is located directly across from the Avenues Mall.
