Customer Reviews
11/16/2008 - This couse is a course that you do not get tired of playing. It is a very challenging lay out. They put in all new greens a year ago and what a big improvement. Tee staff is great there. It is almost impossible to play a course today without condo lined fairways, and this is one of the last ones not to have condos on it. This course lives up to its name. The Habitat. A must play course when in Florida. Posted by Hank.

4/11/2008 - The course was very nice. I am not a lover of the links courses, but the men in the group enjoyed it. Posted by Rita (Denison, IA).

3/6/2008 - Decent course, but many holes are sort of tricked out rather than normal golf holes. Posted by Jim (Benton Harbour, MI).

2/1/2008 - Excellent. We really enjoyed this track. Would definitely go back to play again. Posted by Francis (Brunswick, OH).

1/25/2008 - This course is always a treat to play. It is a little far from the hotel but it is worth the ride. We will return next year. Posted by Tommy (Bowie, MD).

This course was cut out of the natural terrain. The greens are moderately fast and undulating. There are water hazards that come into play on several holes.

The first thing you will notice about The Habitat is that something is missing -- Houses and back yards! When you play The Habitat, the only homeowner you'll see is the wildlife. The rolling 6,836-yard Charles Ankrom design features imaginative topographical elements, mounded fairways, plenty of water, and elevation changes you rarely see in coastal Florida. As an integral element of a wildlife sanctuary, most holes are isolated from the others by natural hammocks and wetlands, offering a quiet sense of solitude just about everywhere on the course. Featuring newly renovated Champion Ultra-dwarf greens, this may be the most naturally beautiful course you will ever play.
