International Links Miami Melreese Golf Course is adjacent to Miami International Airport -- so it is a great choice for first and last day play, or for anyone staying in Miami. Since its multi-million dollar renovation and redesign by Charles Mahannah, International Links Miami has been a favorite of both low and high handicappers. In 2005 the 17th hole was awarded "Best Hole in Miami" by local press. International Links features five lakes, 97 sand bunkers, nine waste bunkers and a strategically placed cypress wetland. There are large, uniquely designed, undulating greens that are planted with certified Tifdwarf grass, which guarantees the truest putting surface in South Florida.

5/23/2008 - A very good course but lacks club house facilities. Will be better when plans for new club house are progressed. Course is worth playing. Posted by David (Luton Beds, England).
5/2/2008 - It's a nice golf course near the airport. Posted by Robert (Mercier, Canada).
This tight course has water hazards that come into play on fourteen holes. The greens are large, undulating and have medium speed. There are more than 650 new fifteen-foot live oak and palm trees planted on this course to make up for the devastation caused by Hurricane Andrew. There are many sand bunkers spread throughout the course. The signature hole is #14, nicknamed "Heartbreak Ridge." a 439-yard, par 4, with water that runs down the right side of the fairway from tee to green, requiring an approach shot over water to an island green.
