7/10/2009 - The course was in good shape except for the greens. Many were burned out and the putting was horrible. Pro shop was not very accepting of criticism. Otherwise, course was fine and better than average for Florida courses.

2/1/2008 - Nice layout. This course is in a convenient location for us as we drive to Orlando. From time of booking they worked others in before our established tee time so we went off 15 after time booked. Good lunch area with friendly staff for after golf lunches. This long course is unlike others in the area because it was designed on rolling terrain. The greens are large and undulating, and the fairways are tree lined. By combining affordable rates and easy public access with a challenging golf layout, and in country club condition, this Davis Love III designed course promises to become one of the most popular golf courses in coastal Georgia. The course design takes advantage of heavy woodland tracts, stretches of salt marsh and natural wetlands.

This spectacular course, designed by PGA Tour player Davis Love III, features wide fairway landing areas giving everyone a good starting chance at par. The rolling fairways provide some interesting shots, and the undulating greens require sharp putting skills. There are multiple run-on greens and most are guarded by traps or water. Located just 20 minutes north of the Jacksonville Airport, Laurel Island Links has been carefully carved from beautiful South Georgia marshland.
