2/11/2010 - Beautifully kept and very challenging, but not as hard as everyone made it out to be. Posted by Robert (Cumberland, RI)
2/6/2010 - Can't wait to try it again. Excellent in every way, and it is difficult!! One of the best in Florida in my view. Posted by Steve (West Chester, PA)
2/5/2010 - Great course and treated well! Posted by John (Travelers Rest, SC)
2/5/2010 - This is a return play for us -- we love it! 5 stars!
Posted by Janice (Waupun, WI)
2/2/2010 - This course is incredible and the service and staff were second to none. Legacy is one of those courses that you'll always remember for its beauty, challenge and pristine condition. I have a 10 handicap and have played some nice courses in Pennsylvania, i.e. Nemacolin Woodlands, Olde Stonewall, Pittsburgh Field Club. I highly recommend this course to anyone venturing down to the Sarasota area...you will not be disappointed. Posted by Steve (Cranberry Twp, PA)
1/28/2010 - Great course, staff, and facility. Would definitely play again. Posted by Richard (Malden, MA)
1/24/2010 - Great course to start our golfing vacation. Good condition considering the time of year. Typical fast Sarasota greens and the water makes it interesting! Highly recommended.
Posted by George (Flagler Beach, FL)
1/21/2010 - A class act with some real challenging water to carry. Posted by David (Brick, NJ)
1/13/2010 - Wonderful golf course. Well manicured, intriguing holes, visually appealing, challenging without being back breaking. Would definitley play again. Posted by Jeff (Spring Lake, MI)

12/4/2009 - Always an enjoyment to play. Immaculate condition, excellent service, and worth 4-1/2 stars. Posted by Henry (Warwick, PA)
11/27/2009 - I expected the greens to be quicker, but like Tara they had recently been treated and were a bit sandy, but very true. You had to think your way around as it could bite back. Some lovely holes and in very good condition. Posted by Gary ( Birmingham, United Kingdom)
11/23/2009 - Second time there, and was fun again. Nice layout, greens, scenery. Posted by Wayne (Albany, NY)
11/12/2009 - Excellent. Posted by Joe (Oreland, PA)
10/29/2009 - Excellent golf course with respect to the layout and the overall condition. Some great holes. The facilities were ok and the overall value was good. Would certainly use again. Posted by Ian (Lancs, United Kingdom)

6/4/2009 - Loved the course. Set up well and staff extremely welcoming. We enjoyed it so much we played it again on 5/28/09. Would recommend this course. Posted by Alan (Craigavon, United Kingdom)
4/20/2009 - The Legacy GC provided us with a wonderful golfing experience from the moment of arrival to departure. The club is beautiful and the course has a few signature holes that my friends and I are still talking about. Even though we did not play our best golf we felt good about being at the course. All the water and wildlife added to the pleasure of playing the course. We spent time in the club house after the round and talked with the foursome that was ahead of us. It was good to hear that we were not the only ones having problems that day. The Legacy is a true and fair test of golfing skills. We look forward to playing it again in the near future. Posted by Horace (Shelby Twp, MI)
4/3/2009 - Nice Track. A little pricey I think for the course. Some very nice holes but not worth the extra cash compared to some of the other courses available. Didn't seem to be in as good of shape as some of the other courses we played but not in bad shape either. Overall a great day but I played it once, I'm good with that. Posted by C.S. (NH)
3/26/2009 - Legacy is a great layout. The course was in excellent condition with nice greens. Always a must play. Posted by MCL
3/20/2009 - This was a great course. It was worth the price. Watch out for the gator on island par 3 17th. It had my playing partner's ball in its mouth when we arrived at the hole. Posted by Bob (Columbia, MD)
3/20/2009 - Legacy was our favorite of the five courses we played!!! It was in great condition despite the dry weather... We will play there twice next year as it continues to be a great value and experience. Posted by Jon (Elgin, IL)
3/20/2009 - Legacy had a good, challenging layout in excellent condition. We played some beautiful and very memorable golf holes. Posted by Jerry (Pittsburgh, PA)
3/15/2009 - This was a good golf course. The greens were in relatively good condition. The speed of play was excellent. Posted by William (Toronto, CANADA)
3/5/2009 - This was the nicest course we've played in the Tampa area over a two year period. It ranks with Waterlefe as a must-play course. Posted by John (Columbia, MD)
2/27/2009 - Beautiful, but tough, course. Posted by Stephen.
2/26/2009 - Very good course condition. Greens were challenging and in very good condition. Well laid out course, that I would recommend to above average players. 10 handicap player. Posted by John (Oakville, ON)
2/25/2009 - First time we selected this course to play during our annual winter trip to Florida. Staff was friendly and informative about the course and what to expect. Fair but challenging layout and was also in great condition. You feel like you're a touring pro when you play this course. Posted by Stephen (Central Islip, NY)
2/23/2009 - Great new course. First four holes are a real challenge. We're keeping this on on the list. Posted by Don (Poinciana, FL)
2/21/2009 - Walked on as a single for their twilight rate (a steal!). Course was in great shape. Staff was courteous and very accommodating. Very good test of golf. Posted by JT.
2/5/2009 - Highly recopmmend this course. Pretty and challenging.
Posted by Gary (Glenside, PA)
1/29/2009 - Course was beautiful, very well maintained. Weather could've been a tad bit warmer, but the round was very enjoyable. Very helpful staff in the clubhouse - allowed us to go out early seeing as how they weren't that busy. Posted by Janice (Waupun, WI).
1/27/2009 - Good course, but better courses in the area a lot less cost. If they want to charge "Top Dollar" they need to keep the course "Top Notch" which it isn't. Great test of golf though.
Posted by DJM (Manchester, United Kingdom)
1/23/2009 - 3.5 star. Good range and greens, some holes are too tricky, condition okay. Posted by Gary (Keswick, VA)
12/11/2008 - Definitely the toughest course on gulf side. Great condition and friendly people, very accommodating when arriving late, top notch practice facility. Posted by Robert (Scarborough, Canada).
12/5/2008 - Super course, super people, great condition. Posted by Henry (Warminster, PA).
12/4/2008 - Best course we played...a good thing you left it until last... if this was the first course we would have been disappointed with the rest. Posted by Mario (Milton, Canada).
11/29/2008 - Great golf course, great condition. Posted by Ronald (Toronto, Canada).
10/30/2008 - Very disappointing, there is no map, or directions. Several times we hit balls to the wrong area. They need markers of a map of the holes on the card. Would not play again unless improved. Better courses are available for less money. Posted by James (St Petersburg, FL).
10/26/2008 - Extremely nice. Manny waste bunkers well positioned. You shoot well or your are in trouble. Greens were in perfect condition. Recommend to all level of player. Posted by Marc (Westmount, Canada).
7/14/2008 - Great course, great staff. Posted by Ray (New City, NY).
5/29/2008 - Super course, great layout...quite a challenge, lots of water and sand. 1st timers need a yardage book or something to show some of the trouble areas...not always obvious. Hard course, but fair. Inset in an upscale housing development...beautiful homes and scenery. Posted by David (Flatwoods, KY).
5/13/2008 - Very nice. Posted by Dan (Louisville, KY).
5/9/2008 - Beautiful course. Great challenge. No two holes are the same. I'll be back. Posted by Stephen (Burlington, Canada).
4/3/2008 - Overall condition not as good as a couple of years ago. Too many hidden hazards. Not worth the price. Posted by Ron.
4/3/2008 - Beautiful golf course. Very well maincured and interesting layout. A lot of water and not appropriate for high handicapers. Was significantly more money than the other courses we played so value for money just okay. Posted by Karen (Truro, Canada).
4/3/2008 - Would golf again, and would recommend. Posted by Daniel (Leechburg, PA).
3/31/2008 - Best course in the Sarasota-Bradenton area. The free driving range is a bonus. Challenging for all golfers. Posted by Zach (Toronto, Canada)
.
3/27/2008 - Excellent in every way. Best course in the area! Posted by Marvin (New York, NY).
3/21/2008 - Great layout in good condition. A must play. Avoid Saturday afternoon as it gets backed up and your looking at 5 hour round.
3/20/2008 - Awesome course! Posted by Amy (Penfield, NY).
3/10/2008 - Five stars in my book. My favorite golf course in the bay and Gulf Coast areas. Palmer at his best. Great club house, staff, practice facility and the track is awesome. Always in perfect condition. Troon does it right. Posted by Jeff (Minneapolis, MN).
3/7/2008 - A very good layout. Fairly typical of an Arnold Palmer course. Having more sand than water was more of a ball saver. The bad part was a nine hole replay was $55. And then when we tried to get out but they had a group of students in front of us. Posted by Robert (St Joseph, MI).
3/6/2008 - A very difficult but challenging golf course. Accuracy is priority. Too much course for the high handicapper. Very nice practice range. Posted by Mike (Dartmouth, Canada).
3/6/2008 - Nice course! Great conditioning and layout. Staff was very attentive. Posted by Nelson (St Catharines, Canada).
2/28/2008 - What a great course!!!! Tremendous conditions with the overseeding. Great views with water all over. Try to stay under 25 for the first five tough holes. Good luck! Posted by Kurt (Collingswood, NJ).
11/16/07 - Always enjoy this course! Posted by Denis (Canada).
11/15/07 - Excellent golf course in good shape. This is an incredible deal for a course of this quality. First class from the moment you arrive. Posted by Mark (Canada).
11/15/07 & 11/19/07 - Played twice and totally enjoyed the experience. Beautiful course and well maintained. Fits our needs. We had 12 golfers with handicaps from 8 to 30. Posted by Henry (Warminster, PA).
10/19/07 - Have played this course before and as always found it to be an excellent test of golf. Par 5s leave the lower handicap golfer with the chance to get home in 2, while most of the par 3s are well guarded by water. All in all a great course in great condition. Posted by Damian (Armagh, Ireland)
10/18/07 - Excellent course. Always play here when we vacation. The staff is first class and the golf course is very challenging and very beautiful. Posted by Karen (Chesterfield, MI).
