9/23/2008 - The best value for the money course in Northeast Florida. I've been playing there for four years as part of 10 courses I play each year. Yes, it's tight but a great layout with some challenging holes. The snag is the 15th which has an intimidating tee shot parrallel to the busy highway- don't slice it. You'll be glad you experienced this gem with its large, gentle, rolling greens. The generous landing areas are a welcome target after you negotiate the undulating fairways, well-placed bunkers and lakes that meander through this par 71 course. Renowned golf course architect J. Christopher Commins designed the course. Come make your own history and receive the "Royal Treatment" at Royal St. Augustine Golf & Country Club.
