Customer Reviews
3/5/2009 - 5th time I've played this course. Virtually no homes on the course. Very challenging, always in good shape, good price and if you don't mind hitting your approach shot to a table top, a fun experience. Posted by Hal (Westford, MA)

2/26/2009 - New course. Some very hard holes. Course played very fast and greens were tough. I'd go back. Posted by Steve (St Charles, IL)

1/29/2009 - The best course of our week. This is an open, very well kept course. Would play here again at any time. This was also the least expensive of all the courses we played. The whole staff, including the lawn mowing guys were great. You won't lose many balls here, but it's not easy and the greens were very consistent and well kept even though it was 32 degrees when we tee'd off at 7:30 am. Use a GPS to get there unless you know your way around. Posted by Louis (Chatam, NJ).

Four sets of tees give you plenty of options at this P.B. Dye-designed course that offers good value and a challenging day just northeast of Orlando. The course features undulating greens, dramatic fairway elevation changes and sandy waste bunkers set in pristine natural surroundings. The complete practice facility also boasts a double-ended driving range, a 19th "shoot-out" hole, and a 40,000 sq. ft. short game area. The rustic clubhouse features a bar and grille, as well as a fully stocked pro shop. P.B. Dye designed the course to offer a bit of everything, including uphills, downhills, sidehills -- and no forced carries. A challenging course that is host to the Hooters Tour, Canadian Tour and USGA PubLinks as a Qualifying Site, Black Bear is a true golfer's club!
