In other words, the greens are lightning fast. Other than the fast greens this course is a good value with great fairways with lots of water. Water on 16 of the 18 holes and they DO come into play on all 16. Very well taken care of and pleasing to the eye. This course is a little tough to start out on after not having played golf all winter. I would suggest playing this course on day two or three. The fairways are narrow and there is a lot of water lining them to collect your slices and hooks. It is one with too much water - much of it hidden from the tee box. It also has some extremely narrow fairways, many of which are bordered very closely by homes. Target golf can be fun, but for the first timer it is difficult to tell which club to use from the tee. Pick wrong and even straight shots are lost. The greens were fast but had just been sanded. 5/25/2008 - The course was great but the staff left little to be desired. They were not very friendly or helpful. 4/12/2008 - This course has very tight fairways with lots of water. You need an accurate shot on every hole. The greens are super fast and very hard to judge and play. The course was in fair shape but unforgiveable which makes for a less enjoyable round of golf. Posted by Eric (Cheticamp, Canada).

4/3/2008 - Played 36 at Ridgewood Lakes. If you like very fast greens that challenge you to stay away from the three put, then this is your course. In other words, the greens are lightning fast. Other than the fast greens this course is a good value with great fairways with lots of water. Water on 16 of the 18 holes and they DO come into play on all 16. 3/28/2008 - The course was in pretty good condition. This course is a little tough to start out on after not having played golf all winter. I would suggest playing this course on day two or three. The fairways are narrow and there is a lot of water lining them to collect your slices and hooks. Posted by William (Warren, OH).
3/27/2008 - Excellent course, very nice people to work with, although the pro shop did not see that a free bucket of balls was included on the voucher, they provided them anyways. 3/6/2008 - This was the only course of the 7 that we all disliked. Not in good shape--greens were supposed to be good--they were "jagged" on the edges and had large bad spots. Course had a few nice holes--but we would not play it again.

12/14/2007 - Somewhat disappointed with this course. It is one with too much water - much of it hidden from the tee box. It also has some extremely narrow fairways, many of which are bordered very closely by homes. Target golf can be fun, but for the first timer it is difficult to tell which club to use from the tee. Pick wrong and even straight shots are lost. The greens were fast but had just been sanded. Nice practice range and small putting green. Posted by William (Dalton, MA).
