10/22/2009 - I thoroughly enjoyed this course. It was in great shape and presented an excellent challenge to a 15 handicapper. Staff were outstanding - friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it. The greens were in great shape. The staff here was very nice and accommodating. We were only a twosome and we completed the first round in about three hours. The club house was nice, but the food could have been better. We would definitely recommend this course to others. Kind of a shame for such a nice layout to be in below average condition. It was cheap but you do get what you pay for, as money needs to be spent on it. Enjoyed it and was able to get out for another 18 in the afternoon and that was nice. Very affordable. This course hosted three USGA National Qualifying Tournaments in 1992. "Golf Digest" rated this as the 4th "Best New Golf Course" in the U.S. for 1992. The greens are relatively small, undulating, and about four of them are elevated. The fairways are separated by thick lines of trees. Water hazards (ponds and a creek) come into play on ten holes. It was also selected for three major USGA qualifying events and has received numerous other awards. Hills made good use of the rolling landscape found here, creating dramatic elevation changes, beautiful fairways and well-bunkered greens. Plenty of oak and pine mix with shimmering blue lakes on this truly memorable course. ***This course enforces a strict cancellation policy for all groups of 8 or more players. For groups of 8 or more, all tee times must be cancelled at least five (5) days in advance. For groups of 7 and under, the 48 hour cancellation policy will apply. *** **********Complimentary Replay Round Special************** The "Complimentary Replay Round Special" at Windsor Parke Golf Club is valid from 01/01/09 through 12/31/09.
