With its unique contrasts between centuries-old oak trees and scenic tidal marshes, this premier private club was nominated as one of the best new courses in the Southeast in 1991. Several PGA Tour qualifying rounds have been held here, including the 1993/94 PGA Tour Qualifying School. The wonderful layout borders the Intracoastal Waterway. Designed by Mark McCumber, the course is open, with rolling fairways, generous landing areas, a picturesque, natural setting and superlative standards of maintenance. There is an upscale clubhouse and prestigious yacht club on-site.
