Great course will suit high and low handicappers. Great condition, great staff. We played four courses in Orlando in two weeks and this was by far the best golfing experience. This place is just so great - condition, facilities, beautiful holes and area surrounding, staff just too great to be true, again the most friendly staff I have ever encountered and incredible golf carts. This is a must to return to and enjoy. The Panther Lake course is nicer and more attractive than Crooked Cat but they are both better than most courses I have ever played. This year our trip was later than usual and we did not encounter many visits from the ranger which makes for a very relaxing and enjoyable 36 hole experience. Its a gem in great condition and real value for money unlike Grand Cypress. One of the best courses I have played. Crooked Cat was in poor shape. Water had all dried up. Panther Lake was in better shape. The course is fairly wide open for those of us who are not single digit handicaps. The course is very nice and easily the best of our trip. One of the group's golf bags was left at the course and when we realized it the next day they drove it out to the course we were playing that day. Very nice. My wife and I joined up with a father and son from Canada, both good players. We played the Championship tees at about 6700 yards. Very good course, excellent test of golf. Never waited on a shot, played in four hours. All the staff were pleasant and helpful. Nice touch is providing complimentary balls on the range and having a guy there to tell you when to head for the tee. It seems that there are no marshalls out in the afternoon so it took 3 hours to play 9 holes which meant that we couldn''t finish the round. The thing I liked about these courses is that there are not a lot of forced carries and you have very playable yardages yet they are still tough. The great part about it was even if your drives went astray there was a likelyhood of a second shot, although more difficult. The greens were the fastest I've ever been on. They kept all of us guessing. No doubt about it. We will be back to play this one and its sister course. This year our trip was later than usual and we did not encounter many visits from the ranger which makes for a very relaxing and enjoyable 36 hole experience. The course is very nice and easily the best of our trip. 6/5/2008 - The afternoon round was a disaster for the 2nd time of playing this course. It seems that there are no marshalls out in the afternoon so it took 3 hours to play 9 holes which meant that we couldn''t finish the round. 5/3/2008 - The perfect way to end the golf weekend. Everybody raved about this place. The great part about it was even if your drives went astray there was a likelyhood of a second shot, although more difficult. The greens were the fastest I've ever been on. 3/24/2008 - Out of the 5 courses we played during our trip, this was one was the best by far. The staff was very courteous and helpful and the course condition, layout, etc. was outstanding. 3/7/2008 - Any time you can play where the pros play, you can test your ability with theirs. We have a couple 0 handicappers in our group, so we love Orange County. They leave there with a higher handicap, its a true test of golf from the tips !!!
