6/23/2009 - Of the courses we played, this was the least favorite. It was not in the best condition, especially in the first nine holes where there seemed to be unkept areas. It cries out for a readable map on the card or a complimentary yardage book. Unfortunately, neither were readily available. They also put a few groups ahead of our group (28) and our guaranteed replay tee times were delayed which slowed us down so that a bunch of us never finished the replay round. It took our group a little over 6 hours to complete a round of golf!! Course was backed up incredibly due to some very slow golfers (one of which had a 40 handicap I believe). Course rangers did nothing to alleviate the situation. This delay resulted in half our group walking in after 9 holes (after 3hr 20 mins). Never again. Also no GPS on the carts and they have a TINY map of the course on the score card so buying the yardage book is a must. Immaculate conditions, 3.5 hour pace of play and a truly great layout for a resort course. Each hole was unique and when playing you were not aware of any adjacent holes. 11/20/2008 - The course was in nice shape but with many blind shots (not knowing this until we were out on the course) and no GPS. It cries out for a readable map on the card or a complimentary yardage book. Unfortunately, neither were readily available. They also put a few groups ahead of our group (28) and our guaranteed replay tee times were delayed which slowed us down so that a bunch of us never finished the replay round. 5/30/2008 - Very dissappointed!! It took our group a little over 6 hours to complete a round of golf!! Course was backed up incredibly due to some very slow golfers (one of which had a 40 handicap I believe). Course rangers did nothing to alleviate the situation. 5/13/2008 - The course was in good shape but it was also the most expensive out of all the courses we played. Really not worth that high a price. 4/12/2008 - This course is a very nice course to play. The fairways are wide and the greens are playable. I would rate this course one of the best courses to play. 1/3/2008 - I am partial to Arnold Palmer's designs and the Legends Course at Orange Lake Resort is incredible. Immaculate conditions, 3.5 hour pace of play and a truly great layout for a resort course. Each hole was unique and when playing you were not aware of any adjacent holes.
