West Course 7017-73.5-132 6583-69.4-124 6139-70.1-123 East Course 6473-70.3-124 6170-67.9-118 5855-68.8-117 Originally designed by Robert Trent Jones, the 36-hole Country Club of Miami is one of the best values in the area. It is located between Miami and Ft. Lauderdale and is full of Southeast Florida golf history. The East course is tighter off the tee, but not as long as the West. The West course is more forgiving off the tee but longer, which makes for slightly higher scores than the East. This course's first resident golf professional was none other than the legendary Arnold Palmer. Jack Nicklaus played his first event as a professional here and it was on these grounds that Lee Trevino achieved his fourth professional victory, the 1970 National Airlines Open. Greatness lingered over the grounds during the days of Jackie Gleason, who could be spotted golfing with friends, including Bob Hope and Bing Crosby. That tradition of greatness continues today, where you'll find lush fairways, swift rolling greens and challenging bunkers. |

1/22/2009 - Nice course, hard to find. Not in Miami, actually in Hialeah. Posted by Sam (Bordentown, NJ).
11/28/2008 - I enjoyed the golf at Country Club of Miami. The course was decent, the price was great and the staff was pretty good as well. If money was tight, I would golf it again in a heartbeat. Posted by Kurt (Sanby, UT).
4/24/2008 - The maintenance of the fairways seems to be better at the East Course than the West Course. Both courses are inexpensive to play on. I appreciated the services provided by Tee Times USA. All the agents there are very helpful and friendly. Posted by Sarah (Flagler Beach, FL).
3/27/2008 - Very nice course, friendly staff at an excellent price. Posted by Edward (Salem, NH).
3/27/2008 - The course seems to get a lot of play. It was a bit overcrowded. However, it was a good track for the money. Posted by Alvin (Chicago, IL).
3/15/2008 - I was not terribly impressed with this course. Granted, the greens were very good but the rest of the course was average at best. The pro shop personnel was unfriendly and not very accommodating. I would guess we will try to play somewhere else next year. Posted by Henry (Lewiston, NY).
3/12/2008 - I like this course, it was wide open yet challenging. The one real amenity is that it has a driving range to warm up on before you start your round. There are two courses both were good and I definitely would play it again. I would rank it an 8 out of 10. Posted by Mike (Owing Mills, MD).
3/6/2008 - I played this course first -- my first game since the Fall. The course had fairways wide enough so some misplayed shots were not punished severely. The price was good and it was a good time. Posted by Robert (Lemont, IL).
This club has outstanding eighteen hole regulation courses. The East Course requires shot placement and strategy from all skill levels. The West Course features rolling greens, lush fairways and treacherous sand bunkers. Bobby Weed did redesigns on the East and West courses in 1989.
