There is a setting in the Central Florida countryside where vibrant lifestyles thrive under golden sunlight. This 2200 hundred acre gated community beckons a privileged few with a lifestyle like no other. This is Providence Golf Club. Celebrating its first anniversary in 2008, Providence has hosted nearly 30,000 golfers from all over the globe and the approval rating with first year guests has been overwhelmingly positive.
This Mike Dasher masterpiece is challenging yet fair. Thirteen of the holes border nothing but sun, sky and wilderness yet to be developed. It is not unusual to get a glimpse of otters, deer or wild turkeys during your round. No honking horns, hum of busy traffic or views of skyscrapers here- simply nature and a terrific layout. This is the way golf was meant to be played. The dedicated staff is devoted to making your day on this course one you will soon want to repeat. Breakfast is offered at Providence, in season, starting at 7:30 a.m. for a nominal fee, if you want to grab a bite before your round.

2/15/2010 - A great young course. It was an extremely windy day, so our group of 8 middle-aged golfers, with only average length, moved up to the green tees.. and we thoughly enyoyed the day. The clubhouse is first-class; and everyone from the pro-shop to the waitstaff were curtious and professional. Posted by Dean (Hanson, MA)
2/11/2010 - Course was not in good condition as the other 7 we played....despite the January weather... might take off our list for 2011 . Disappointed. Posted by Robert (Enfield, CT)
1/31/2010 - Course was in great shape with well taken care of fairways and greens. A fun course to play without being too difficult. My son's and I had a great time playing a pretty new layout. We will be back in the future. Great value for the money.

1/28/2010 - Really nice facility - good clubhouse with full menu restaurant - friendly staff. Course was backed up for our second 18 and starter was great - took us to #10 and we finished in under 4 hours. Good track - greens were a little bumpy, but we were there right after really cold weather. Put this one on your list if you want a good 36 hole special and course. Posted by Mark (Schererville, IN)
12/28/2009 - Course was okay, nothing great but nothing bad either. Would play again. Posted by Kenny (Maysville, KY)
5/8/2009 - Give it time to mature and the course will be a hit. Greens were very slow, maybe be related to drought conditions.

4/16/2009 - Great location and nice layout. This one is on the list as a keeper. Posted by Gary (Campbellville, ON CANADA)
4/10/2009 - We enjoyed the course but felt it was still immature, with the fairways sparse. Posted by Lloyd (Penfield, NY)
4/9/2009 - Nice course. The fairways were very hard. I mean the ground.
4/9/2009 - Like the course alot. Fairways area still not grown in that good. If not better by next year we will take this off of our itinery. Posted by Matt (Cicero, NY)
3/26/2009 - We played this course last year and liked the value so much we tried it again this year. Layout is still nice but course was not overseeded causing gray/brown grass and very tight lies. Posted by Brad (Cincinnati, OH)
3/19/2009 - The greens were excellent, but the rest of the course was rather burnt out. I have seen worse, but it was certianly not what we expected. Posted by David (Burlington, MA)
3/19/2009 - It's a new course with the front nine in better condition than the back. Given another year, it should be in excellent shape. It had great customer service, especially from the starter. Posted by Brian (Bedford, NH)
3/19/2009 - The folks at the course were very friendly and helpful, but the course is in terrible shape. There was very little grass on the fairways. I will not return to this course for at least five years. Posted by Al (Pinehurst, NC)
3/19/2009 - It's a very nice course considering that it's only its second year of operation. It was well-groomed and not difficult with a beautiful clubhouse and amenities. It's worth every penny. Posted by Claude (St Andre D'argenteuil, CANADA)
3/17/2009 - If you like a links style course, this is a very nice place to play. It has a nice layout and great staff. I would play again. Posted by Neil (New Kensington, PA)
3/12/2009 - This course was enjoyable. I would highly recommend it for play while in The Orlando area. Posted by Gary
3/9/2009 - Providence is a beautiful course. We liked it so much that we played thirty-six holes! Posted by Craig (Aurora, CANADA)
3/1/2009 - Underwhelming. Course in bad condition, fairways were the same shade of brown as the rough. Greens were also not in good shape. It's not just the dry weather, we played 4 other courses, all in much better condition. Providence will not be on the list for future trips. Posted by Jim
2/26/2009 - OK Course, would not play again. Posted by Dennis (Maple Grove, MN)
2/18/2009 - Appropriately priced course. Nice layout amoung the houses on the front nine, and all nature on the back. No over seeding in the fairways or rough, completely brown and very little grass, plenty of tight lies. Greens were excellent though and course very challenging even from 6400 yds. Would love to play when everything is green. Don't be fooled by the beautiful clubhouse and pool complex. There are no locker rooms or changing facilities.
2/5/2009 - Nice. Will get better with time. Posted by Tom (Penfield, NY)
2/5/2009 - Nice, will get better with time. Posted by Tom (Penfield, NY)
2/2/2009 - Good lay-out, but newer course needs maturing. Had ongoing ground under repair. Posted by Richard (Kentwood, MI).
1/29/2009 - Pro very courteous as was the starter..enjoyed the course but weather that day was brutal....will come back. Posted by Phil (Markham, ON).
1/29/2009 - Th best course we played all week. Very impressive layout. Course in great shape. Great clubhouse, great food, friendly personnel. Needs to have a locker room so we could change clothes to fly home in. Will definitely play again next year. Posted by Charles (Maumee, OH).
1/29/2009 - A good solid course. A very nice clubhouse. Seemed expensive compared to others of equal quality. Posted by Louis (Chatam, NJ).
1/23/2009 - Was a cold morning, difficult to appreciate the course. That said, the course is still immature but it should be a good one in the future. Posted by Michael (Barrington, RI).
1/22/2009 - Brand new course (only open 1 year and 4 months). Fastest greens we've ever played. Lorena Ochoa went out in the morning before us. They probably set up pin placements and greens for her visit, which made it very interesting for the average hackers like us. However, course was fantastic and we really enjoyed the round. Excellent re-lay rate of $18.00. Would definitely revisit and play again in the future. Posted by Robert (Somers Point, NJ).
1/22/2009 - New course. Nice facilities. Upscale. Enjoyable for mid to high handicapper. Posted by Tom (St. Clair Shores, MI).
12/11/2008 - Very accommodating. We were rained out after 9 holes and came back in the middle of the week for the second nine without any problems. Posted by Frank (Cheswick, PA).
12/11/2008 - The best course we played by far. Quite upscale with all the amenities. A very playable course but it has some very deep water. We even stayed for a couple reasonably priced beers.
Posted by David (Gravenhurst, ON).
12/1/2008 - Great surprise. Very playable. Fun course for everybody in our group of 8. Will be part of a lineup again next trip to Orlando. Posted by Francois (Gatineau, Canada).
11/8/2008 - This is the second year we played this course. We loved it last year, but not so much this year. Not sure if this course will make next year's list. Posted by Michael (Chagrin Falls, OH).
10/30/2008 - Second time at this course. The course has been in great shape and a pleasure to play for all abilities. Posted by Robert (Danbury, CT).
10/17/2008 - Wide open fairways. Beautiful club house. Nice scenery. Course was in excellent condition. Good value for money.
5/19/2008 - This course has a nice layout but was not in good shape at all. None of the three course elements, tees, fairways, and especially greens were close to the condition of the other courses we played. I am aware it is a relatively new course but would not look to play there again. Posted by John (Monroe Twp, NJ).
5/9/2008 - The girls want to go here again too. They liked the course, loved the staff and clubhouse. Food was great. Posted by Glenna (Copley, OH).
4/24/2008 - A very nice layout. Greens were in terrible shape. When this course matures, it will be worth playing. Posted by Jim.
4/24/2008 - Great course, great staff. We were told "this is your club". The course was in excellent shape. It was also quiet a contrast form the front to the back. We thoroughly enjoyed the round. Posted by Garace (Dulles, VA).
4/24/2008 - This is a course we must play again. Course, staff and replay rate outstanding. Posted by Homer (Mc Cordsville, IN).
4/24/2008 - Greens were not very good. However, liked the layout of the course. Posted by Larry (Columbus, OH).
4/18/2008 - New course, very nice should only get better. Posted by Don (Lyndeborough, NH).
4/17/2008 - This is a really crappy golf course. In poor condition, many of the greens are burnt out or dirt. Would not recommend playing.
4/11/2008 - Great new course. We will play again if it remains affordable. Posted by Matt (Cicero, NY).
4/4/2008 - Course was dry and had been not been watered in quite some time. The rumor was the irrigation system was broken but no one had mentioned that when we checked in. Posted by Albert Little (Kalamazoo, MI).
3/29/2008 - New course. Very nice facilities. Definately will return next year. Posted by Al (Mineola, NY).
3/27/2008 - This course has only been open 2 years. Good layout. Unfortunately for us, the sprinkling system, the pump, had been broken for 5 weeks and the course was like a rock, greens dried out. On the day we were there, the had finally corrected the pump problem and by this writing, the course will be becoming green again. Posted by Bill.
3/27/2008 - Donated many balls to the water, but that was our fault....nice layout in good shape for the time of year....greens were extremely fast and we had the bad luck of a very windy day...but we would play here again....important here to play the correct tee blocks ....starter gave very good advice. Posted by Doug (Berrie, ON CANADA).
3/25/2008 - We enjoyed our round and the staff were very nice. We will be considering making it a regular stop for us. Posted by Dan (Welland, ON CANADA).
3/21/2008 - New course with potential. Worth trying for the price. Should only get better. Posted by Brad.
3/21/2008 - Best place we played during our trip. Wide open fairways and a great layout. Easy enough for the average golfer. New development, so still needs time to grow. Very few homes that will interfere with play. Replay was a must. Clubhouse was very comfortable and grand. 1st. on our list to come back to.
Posted by Jon (Chicago, IL).
3/20/2008 - The group really liked this course. It seemed somewhat more like a "northern" course in that the grass on the fairways and around the green was more plentiful than on most of the courses. Posted by Chuck (Perrysburg, OH).
3/12/2008 - Like the course. Beautiful area and the staff was very accomodatining. Posted by Nancy (Perryville, MD).
3/6/2008 - Very good course. Posted by Charles (Burlington, NC).
3/6/2008 - Great new course and facilities. Course and greens were well maintained. Posted by Daniel.
3/6/2008 - Nice course. People were very friendly. It was a good starter course. Posted by Kevin.
3/6/2008 - Great course, loved it. Posted by Doug (Kokomo, IN).
3/4/2008 - Challenging layout with excellent greens. Great value for the price. Compareable to Southern Dunes or MetroWest. Definitely will be on our list to play again. Posted by Don (Brighton, IL)
2/29/2008 - We played 36 holes on 2/26/08. A great golf course, two very different 9s , great clubhouse, thoroughly enjoyable. Posted by Bob.
2/28/2008 - Very helpful and friendly staff. The course is new, so still maturing, but, for its age, was in good condition. A few of the greens were a little bumpy, but, overall, I would play it again. Posted by Gary.
2/7/2008 - Very nice layout and especially nice people. Got here a little early. They let us off early. Finished early. Then they let us play a repeat round for only $18!! Posted by Daniel (St. Louis, MO).
2/7/2008 - Beautiful new course that will only get better. Good value for the dollar. Nice layout. At this point a wide open course that will close in as more homes are built. Hope all the homes are not as close to the fairways as some are know.

2/7/2008 - Beautiful new course that will only get better. Good value for the dollar. Nice layout. At this point a wide open course that will close in as more homes are built. Hope all the homes are not as close to the fairways as some are now. Posted by Paul (Westborough, MA).
2/7/2008 - Beautiful course, nice clubhouse and great amenities. Very fair test of golf right from tee box. One of the better new courses. Posted by Mike (Bangor, ME).
1/24/2008 - This was my favorite course. The clubhouse and restaurant where fantastic. The golf course was maintained to excellence and the wildlife on the course, birds, alligators etc., made it very memorable. This will be a course we will be playing when we return in the future. Posted by Brandon.
1/12/2008 - Brand new course....not many other people were playing. Not a bad design, but needs to mature. Posted by Rick (Pickerington, OH).
11/08/07 - Brand new course in exceptional condition for such newness. Very enjoyable to play. Posted by Steven (Venice, FL).
10/26/07 - We will be returning to the Orlando area again just to play this course. It is a new course and is a few miles away but well worth the drive. It is only going to improve with age. Loved it!!!! Posted by Linda (Ash Grove, MO).
