Posted by David (Luton Beds, England). This course's fairways were built on rolling terrain, and its tees and greens are elevated. | 6373-70.6-120 6094-69.1-116 5442-71.3-121 Miami Shores Country Club, built in 1936, features a classic 18-hole championship layout by the famed architect Red Laurence. The course has been host to a number of prestigious events including the Florida State Open. Such celebrities as Bob Hope, Joe DiMaggio, Arnold Palmer, Sam Snead and Lee Trevino have graced the lush fairways. The front nine, which calls for precise approach shots into small well-bunkered, contoured greens, will provide exciting rounds for players of all abilities. The incoming nine calls for well-placed tee shots. Other amenities include a spectacular 120-seat lounge with a panoramic view of the golf course and lighted driving range, six clay tennis courts, three hard courts, swimming pool, extra large men's and ladies' locker rooms and a staff that understands the meaning of excellent service. |
