Escape! Crandon Golf Course at Key Biscayne is the perfect alternative to civilization. Spend a day enveloped by the tropics - this course is an explosion of color and light surrounded by water, mangrove forest and lush, tropical foliage. You can experience the local wildlife in their natural habitat too! You'd never guess Crandon could be so secluded and inviting and still be so close to downtown Miami and the airport. Beauty isn't the only draw, added to its natural splendor, Crandon presents a true test of any golfer's skill. Von Hagge and Devlin designed it that way - a challenge from the first hole, a dogleg par 5 that requires a drive over water and mangroves - through to the eighteenth, another par 5 with sparkling Biscayne Bay on one side of the fairway and a serene saltwater lake on the other side. Crandon Golf Course was awarded a 4 star rating from Golf Digest "Best Places to Play" 2008-2009.

11/16/2009 - Another must play if you stay in Miami! The course is in very good condition and the staff there is very accommodating. A truly great experience for every golfer. Posted by Florian.
11/14/2009 - This course is suited for all golfers but with water, length and high slope it might be a bit much for poor to average golfers. Even so, I would recommend it as a must play on Key Biscayne with the scenery & wildlife. Course, service and food was great. Posted by Bernard (Oakdale, MN)
7/3/2009 - The perfect course! Great view, high quality, every hole is a challenge. GPS on golf carts is the best part, and inexpensive. Course is in the list of the 75 best U.S. courses. Posted by DJ (Deventer, Netherlands)
6/15/2009 - Very nice golf course. Some tough holes. Couse was in good condition. Posted by Timothy.
4/20/2009 - Great but tough course. We played in reasonable time. Posted by Joe (Newton, MA)

3/7/2009 - Our annual Florida trip has always included at least one round at Crandon. It's always challenging, no matter what your handicap, and the location right on the water is unique. This year the course was showing signs of wear, especially the greens.
2/13/2009 - As always, the best overall course we've played in the Miami area. Pricier than most but the conditions, layout and scenery is top notch. Posted by Michael.
1/30/2009 - Crandon was fun. It had a few picturesque holes but I expected a little more for a course that is out on a key. Fast greens! Posted by Mike.
1/29/2009 - This is my group's 4th year using your services and our experience has been positive overall. However, this year the greens at Crandon were in less than "good" condition. We paid $176 to play this course and were extremely disappointed in the conditions of the greens. Specifically, the greens were more "green sand" than green grass. Posted by James (Alexandria, VA)
11/28/2008 - Very good. It is worth it. Best golf course in Miami. Posted by Taisik .
11/1/2008 - This is a great layout that was in terrific condition. The views of the ocean and downtown Miami and incredible. Posted by Frank.
7/10/2008 - Great course, well maintained. Posted by Jerry (Fresno, CA).
6/19/2008 - Awesome golf course - a monster off the back tees. We enjoyed it immensely. Shame the greens had been dressed, which made stopping shots tough and putting even tougher. We would like to have been advised of this when booking. Posted by Phil (WF81NE Yorkshire, United Kingdom).
5/23/2008 - Excellent public course, with great facilities. The greens were at 12 on the stimp meter when we played, as the course had hosted a tournament the week before! Tough but fair challenge. Posted by David (Luton Beds, England).
5/19/2008 - Awesome golf course...very challenging and people were great. Posted by Francis (Phoenix, AZ).
5/12/2008 - What a course! Water on so many holes with tropical fauna highlighting your paths. Iguanas all over the place making your round feel truly tropical. Windy gusts at times make shot making a test of good club selection and safe aim. Star studded, guaranteed to see some famous people on the course (saw John Travolta and an undisclosed rock star). But then again you're here to play golf, and this course will test your skills right from the start. Posted by Robert (Flagler Beach, FL).
5/9/2008 - One of the best courses I've played in a long time. Ranks up there with World Woods and TPC of Tampa which I played a few weeks earlier. Fairways and roughs are in great shape, greens are as fast as any I've played in a long time. Posted by Gerry (Flagler Beach, FL).
5/2/2008 - Very nice one but too many starts in a short time. The greens are very small. But the view of Miami was terrific. Posted by Robert (Mercier, Canada).
4/24/2008 - The Crandon Golf Course is beautiful and serene. The golf is inexpensive - well worth the money. Posted by Sarah (Flagler Beach, FL).
3/27/2008 - Great course, very challenging and good value for the money. The service in the grill at the turn was not good at all (very slow). However the food was excellent. The service in the bar/grill did not improve after our round. We decided to go elsewhere for refreshments. Overall the course was worth it. I would return. Posted by Alvin (Chicago, IL).
3/21/2008 - The course was excellent. Very difficult but fair. Greens in great condition. Would recommend to anyone. Also loved the crocodile on the par 3, I believe the 11th or 12th hole. Posted by Ron (Tavernier, FL).
3/6/2008 - Always a joy to play! Posted by Stephen (Redding, CT).
2/8/2008 - Great course!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Posted by Steven (West Chester, PA).
1/7/2008 - This was a very pretty course with interesting wildlife, mainly the many colored iguanas. We enjoyed playing this course but the eating facilities were very limited. Clubhouse a little tired. Posted by Andrew (Oakville, ON).
