2/5/2010 - Computer glitch in the clubhouse backed us up about a half hour. Very slow pace and nothing special. It's close to airport. Posted by Chris (Northlake, IL)
1/28/2010 - Course had a great layout. condition was not great, secondary to frost in the previous weeks. All grass was brown and dry with the exception of the greens which were in fair condition at best. Posted by Jeffery (Swansea, MA)
1/14/2010 - Course very busy, had to wait 45 minutes past our tee off time to get on the course. Course very good and staff friendly and helpful. Posted by Bob (Peterculter, United Kingdom)
1/13/2010 - decent track for such a cheap price. Posted by Dennis (Glasgow, United Kingdom)
6/27/2009 - We recommend Mainsail in Tampa. Very good service. The golf course was good. Posted by Rita (San Juan, PR)
3/27/2009 - Lack of water caused parts of the course to be in less than good condition although overall not real bad. Several greens were reduced to dirt in places. Least favorite of the courses we played. Posted by David (Cranston, RI)
3/19/2009 - The course is convenient because of its proximity to the airport, but in my opinion is well over-priced for the condition of the course. I would only recommend this course on the last day of a trip if you had to get to the airport. The airport is only about fifteen minutes away. If you have time, there are much nicer courses that can be played for the same price. Posted by Paul (Novi, MI)
3/7/2009 - Of the five courses we played on this 2009 trip, this course was the roughest. The greens were a bit rough. Posted by John (Owatonna, MN)
2/28/2009 - The staff was very friendly and helpful. However, the golf course isn't very good at all. It wasn't in very good shape. The surroundings are pretty bad as well (run down houses on every hole that definitely come into play for some golfers). I definitely won't play it again. Posted by Mike (Simpsonville, KY)
2/5/2009 - Really a members course. Did not feel like we were welcome. Nice course. They were setting up for a tournament in the afternoon. Went off on the 10th tee, cart running around setting up signs for tournament. Could have been just a bad day? No replay option due to tournament. Posted by Glenn (Ashland, NH)
11/20/2008 - Good starting course. No driving range. Posted by Steve (St. Catharines, Canada).
11/20/2008 - Great course and facilities. Posted by Steve (St. Catharines, Canada).
5/1/2008 - Great course. Took good care of us. Will return. Posted by Andrew (Reading, PA).
4/25/2008 - Would not play again. Posted by Mike (Lasalle, Canada).
4/24/2008 - Fairways and greens were in rough shape but this was a great course to start the trip. Posted by Michael (Shelton, CT).
4/24/2008 - Good warm up course. greens were not in good shape. Posted by Terry (Oakville, ON).
4/20/2008 - Some greens were damaged along the outer edges. Posted by Denis (Chepachet, RI).
4/14/2008 - Course not in very good shape. Least liked course. Posted by John (Saddle Brook, NJ).
4/12/2008 - An understandably included low cost course that we would play again if we had to. Posted by Matt (Brielle, NJ).
4/12/2008 - This was the worst of the 4 courses, still not real bad, would not recommend. Posted by Paul (Coventry, RI).
4/11/2008 - What can I say about old reliable Northdale? They were very accommodating to us, the course was in very good shape and we played a 4 hour round. The menu is limited for lunch but it was better than last year. Posted by Stan (Valley Stream, NY).
3/27/2008 - Nice course. Posted by Paul (Brooklyn, NY).
3/24/2008 - Enjoyed the course. Really wide open without much trouble. Good for your first round of the trip to work the kinks out. Posted by Thomas (Sturgeon Bay, WI).
3/21/2008 - We played here because it was close to the airport and easy to catch our flight. It is like a municipal course although it had some challenging holes. Posted by Joe (N Tonawanda, NY)
3/20/2008 - Just average course with bare greens in spots. Wonderful staff that made you feel at home.
3/18/2008 - This course was a great course to start the weekend. We arrived on Friday and played this course on the same day. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The course was in decent shape. It offered plently of challenges. It was in a great location for the first course of the weekend. Posted by Nicholas (Toledo, OH).
3/15/2008 - very fast greens , had a great round. Posted by Quince (Horsham, PA).
3/6/2008 - Excellent! Posted by Dave (Ulysses, PA).
3/6/2008 - Not as nice as some others, but plenty good as our fourth pick and for our getaway day. We appreciated being able to be fit in for a 2nd 18 when our flights changed. Would play again. Posted by Kirk (New Palestine, IN).
2/28/2008 - Nice course that was in good condition. Houses line much of the course, so a controlled ball-flight very helpful. Posted by Doug (Coloma, MI).
2/28/2008 - We chose Northdale for a first day course due to proximity to the airport and the reduced afternoon rate. Standard Florida residential development course. Conditions were spotty. Fairways were thin, rough very thin. Greens rolled well but were pretty pockmarked. Pleasant staff. Okay opening course for my group. Posted by Roger (Simpsonville, SC).
2/27/2008 - Enjoyed this course too. Fairly basic, but a good value. Posted by Larry (Omaha, NE).
1/25/2008 - Good. Posted by Hyeong (Westbury, NY).
1/10/2008 - Nice course. Challenging and in great condition. Posted by Carl (Ridley, PA).
12/18/2007 - We have played here before and were not disappointed this time. An older course but in good shape. Greens were okay. Not much trouble to contend with so the course is good for high handicappers. Staff is very competent and friendly. Replay at $20 is a bargain. Posted by Thomas (Nesconset, NY).
This is considered a true "Florida" course because it was cut out of the natural terrain. In addition, water hazards come into play on eleven holes. There are enough hazards to challenge the most experienced of golfer.
