Recently rated 4 1/2 stars by Golf Digest, this semi-private, 27-hole layout designed by Ron Garl offers a touch of country and a great day of golf. Oak Ford Golf Club is skirted by lakes and woodlands, with three competitive nine hole courses. If you enjoyed Oak Ford in the past, you will be even more impressed this year - the course is in better shape than ever. Every club in your bag will come into play to challenge the tree-lined fairways, sprawling white sand bunkers and sparkling waters. The tees, fairways and greens are designed specifically to challenge and enhance your golfing experience. Each of the three nines are cut through the woods, and each offer a new experience. 3/17/2009 - Oak Ford is a first class course that tests all handicaps. I played there some twelve years earlier and am glad that I returned. I will do so again in 2010. You should take the trip down and experience the course for yourself. You wont be disappointed. Posted by Jim Horne (Tillicoultry, N/A UNITED KINGDOM)
3/11/2009 - Oak Ford is a great course and probably my favorite anywhere. The course is dry due to the weather in Florida, but the greens are great and the layout is fantastic. Play here if you can. Posted by James (Lima, OH)
2/24/2009 - After reopening, still struggling to regain former quality, but not bad at all. Pure nature, no housing which is a positive. Posted by Karl (Hamburg, Germany)
5/9/2008 - Nice course. Tee boxes could be in much better shape. The reds especially could use a lot of work. Posted by Stephen (Burlington, Canada).
4/3/2008 - Interesting location. OK for price. Many hidden hazards. Posted by Ron.
2/28/2008 - Way out of town. Pleasant staff. Decent track. Crowded, slow play. Small greens.
2/4/2008 - Better front nine than back nine. Very good greens. Friendly staff. Posted by Chas (Camberley, United Kingdom).
2/1/2008 - Found the course in good shape and fun to play especially for our relatively low level of play. Posted by Bob Festa (Huntington, NY).
