Summerfield Crossings Golf Club has proven itself to be a lasting favorite in the Tampa area since the late 1980s. The golf course was designed by well-known golf course architect, Ron Garl. Garl used his expertise to create a beautiful course with a unique layout that golfers of any level of ability can enjoy. Play it once, and you'll want to return time and time again. The golf course at Summerfield Crossings is styled after the luscious links-styled courses in Scotland. Golfers will find small, rolling greens, challenging pot bunkers, and fairways that rise and fall with the terrain. For those golfers who like a little something special, there is even an island green on one of the holes - golfers of all abilities will rise to its challenge. The well-maintained 6,903 yard course, from the back tees, is host to the Futures Tour and several tournaments each year.

This is a links-style course with water coming into play on fourteen holes. There are many moguls and palm trees that come into play throughout the course. The signature hole is #6, a 171-yard, par 3, which calls for a carry over water to a small peninsula green.
