As its name suggests, The Reserve at Orange Lake Resort was specifically redesigned by architect Mike Dasher in 2005 to be in harmony with our carefully preserved wetlands to give you a taste of natural Florida. With 18 holes and 6,505 yards of expansive greens, including several new water features and bunkers throughout the course, it has been ranked by Golf Magazine as one of the top 50 places to play in Florida. Providing the perfect balance of strategy, power, finesse and fun, The Reserve winds through woodlands of oak, cypress and pine marshlands featuring lakes and abundant wildlife.

10/22/2009 - Tight fairways; too many condo sightings. The Legends Course here at Orange Lake is much better. Posted by Ray (Linneus, ME)
9/10/2009 - Our favourite course. Loved the wildlife. Posted by Ron (Mississauga, Canada)
6/19/2009 - Always a great course. Posted by Rick (Sarasota, FL)
5/15/2009 - Course was tight and the ground was very hard. Tough to score well. Posted by Bill (Brampton, Canada)
4/20/2009 - My least favorite of the ones we played. Course only in okay shape. After playing Southern Dunes the day before, we were spoiled. Villas along a lot of holes and they are pretty close especially on the front nine. Just ask the guy we hit in the head near the 11th green. Sorry buddy. We played Reserve so I can't speak for their other course. Would likley not play this one again. Posted by Brian (Ancaster, ON CANADA)
4/19/2009 - Great course made me play a lot of different shots. Used every club in the bag. Staff at the course was awsome. Posted by Vance (Pittsburgh, PA)
4/19/2009 - The fairways were narrow with water on almost every hole. The greens were fair in quality with dry spots. Green fees too expensive for the condition of the course. Posted by Eric
4/16/2009 - First time playing this course in 4 years we have played in Orlando. Very busy in the middle of a large, old timeshare resort. We would give it an average rating at best and probably won't play it again. Posted by Mike (Warren, OH)
4/11/2009 - Enjoyed the course. The staff place was joy from the beginning in checking in to driving off. Posted by James (Flowery Brach, GA)
3/29/2009 - Our worst course on our trip. Not worth the money. Too many houses too close to the course. Not many memorable holes. Terrible replay rate. Posted by Jack (Lake Ariel, PA)
3/28/2009 - Favorite course. Lots of houses & condos. Busy place.
Posted by Jim (Baldwinsville, NY)
3/20/2009 - The course was in fair shape at best. There was no gps or hole layouts on card or at tee boxes!! This made it tough for first time players. It cost us some balls on nice hits. Posted by Larry (Tinley Park, IL)
3/19/2009 - This was a great golf course and a good challenge. It was well-groomed but had very slow play. In our case, we were not able to finish our round due to very, very, slow play (3.5 hrs for 9 holes) but we were issued a rain check for 9 holes. Posted by Claude (St Andre D'argenteuil, CANADA)
3/15/2009 - The course is okay but not great by any means, especially for the price. There were no pictures or information about the holes. You have to learn as you go. The range is not included. Maybe 2 stars. Posted by Tom
3/12/2009 - This was a very nice course and challenging for the average golfer. It was a gorgeous, warm Saturday and the course was quite busy. The management worked very hard to keep things moving smoothly. There was a backup at the first few holes but things improved for the rest of the day. Posted by Robert (Lewiston, NY)
3/6/2009 - Golf Ground was extremely hard. Not too much grass in fairway or fringe. No yardage books, however we were paired with some knowledhable gents who played there before which helped. I'd give it a 6 out of 10. Posted by Russ (Brookville, PA)
3/5/2009 - The course is different from what you see on the internet. It has housing everywhere. You have to cross many streets between holes. Skip this one. Posted by Jack (Toronto, CANADA)
3/4/2009 - Simply my worst experience. So much better in the area. The residetial homes interfere in your enjoyment. No comparison to the Legends course which is excellent. Posted by Alan Cherry
3/2/2009 - Not too bad but pales in comparison to other local courses - Nice friendly staff but gets a lot of traffic and not as well maintained as should be. Great restaurant/bar. Posted by Ron (Orland Park, IL)
2/27/2009 - Course was not the best. the Layout is good but the condition was not the best. Posted by Anthony (Robins, IA)
2/26/2009 - I found absolutely nothing appealing about this course. Too crowded, too slow. Staff seemed confused. Course was poorly kept and poorly marked. Nothing but hotels and condo's to look at. Extremely confusing resort to navigate. Skip this one and you can find much better. Posted by Christopher
2/25/2009 - This course and the greens were in very good condition and enjoyable to play. The only downside was that many people were walking along the course which seemed to be very dangerous and also disconcerting when one was hitting the ball.
Posted by Deborah (Hobe Sound, FL)
2/24/2009 - Frost delay got us off to a late start then went down hill from there, play was slow and the entire course was dormant grass, took 15 minutes to get a hot dog at the turn.
Posted by Leo (Kent, OH)
2/23/2009 - We played both courses and the greens were very different speeds. They were a lot of fun to play. Posted by Gerald (Raytown, MO)
2/14/2009 - Orange Lake Reserve was a nice course. Not overly challenging (16 handicap). Winter conditions for sure but it was a cold week anyway. Would definitely play it again. Price was right through Tee Times USA. Posted by Richard (Yapank, NY)
2/14/2009 - The greens were in the worst condition of any "quality" course I've ever played on. They had not been cut for at least two days and in spots had as much grass as the fairways. Have played there many times in the past, but will not be playing there again. Posted by Michael (Madison, WI)
2/13/2009 - This was an okay course. It works when tied into the Legends. Posted by Don (Avon, IN)
2/13/2009 - This was the most challenging and a true test. We rated this as one of the best around. Posted by Don (Avon, IN)
2/8/2009 - I enjoyed the Reserve course much better than the Legends because it forced you to play shots! Posted by (Warren, OH)
2/6/2009 - Excellent course, cold morning with frost delay. Posted by Darren (Lancaster, KY)
2/6/2009 - One of nicer courses we played. Greens very challenging with undulations and very fast. Really enjoyed playing. Posted by Carl (Homewood, IL)
2/6/2009 - The course itself is a nice tight track that really challenges the driving and iron game. It should have been overseeded for the winter due to dormant grass. It was too brown. support staff is excellent. Posted by David (Forest Grove, OR)
2/5/2009 - The Legend course at Orange Lake was great. Starters were super. Fun holes. Posted by Steve (Rochester, NY)
2/5/2009 - Did not enjoy this course at all. Course was burned out, greens were sandy. Won't go back there. Posted by Phil (Manchester, NH)
2/5/2009 - Course was okay. Pin placements both days were Mickey Mouse. Posted by Steve (Rochester, NY)
1/3/2009 - Good facility. Overseeding was an issue but you were still left with the impression that course conditioning has slipped. Posted by Steve (Flower Mound, TX)
12/24/2008 - Played both courses. Both excellent. Could use a beverage cart. Everything course related top line. Posted by Al (Van Horne, IA).
12/19/2008 - Challenging course. Posted by Michael (Niagara Falls, Canada)
12/4/2008 - Enjoyed but think I would try the Legends next time.
Posted by Don (Houston, TX).
11/28/2008 - Excellent. A sure bet to play again. Posted by Steve (Port Sydney, Canada).
11/11/2008 - Brad and I played the course. We had to leave to take a Disney ticket back to his wife and got back to the course an hour later. They worked us in. Nice course, pretty good shape. We were joined by a single from Boston (visited there last year). Quite an enjoyable course, plenty of water holes, requires some decent shot management. Posted by James (Wichita, KS).
10/28/2008 - VERY TIGHT COURSE! Would not play this one again. Out of bound stakes were two feet off houses. No room for error. We played with someone who drove his ball over the houses and into the front yards at least four times. Try Legends instead.
Posted by Josslyn (Lancaster, PA).
10/16/2008 - Great course - very forgiving from the middle tee boxes. Posted by Michael (Riverhead, NY).
9/18/2008 - Very good shape. Staff was very pleasant to work with. Would play again. Posted by Terry (Middletown, IN).
8/29/2008 - The course was in great condition and the staff was very accommodating. A real value for the price. Posted by Thomas (Edison, NJ).
6/27/2008 - Course was very busy due to the Legends being closed. Didn't expect homes to be as close to the fairways. Problem with my booking but a very helpful lady sent us out asap while she sorted out the booking. Some of the greens very bare in places, otherwise good course. Posted by John (Renfrewshire, United Kingdom).

4/29/2008 - What a change from Legends! The course needed water badly, and maintenance was lacking. Tee boxes looked like they had been shelled by the military. Sand traps were hard and needed to be tilled. Probably would be okay for a late day scramble. One of our groups was visited by the "Beer Fairie", a rental resident leaving, providing them with leftover brew. Bonus!!!! Posted by Anthony (Troy, MI).
4/25/2008 - No GPS, no hole layout on the tee boxes, not even a course layout on the scorecard. Probably will not return to these courses. Posted by Brian (Bellingham, MA).
4/24/2008 - Course in good shape. A good layout. A bit pricey for a resort course. Posted by Jim.
4/24/2008 - Good course. Posted by Anna (New Milford, CT).
4/17/2008 - The course itself was average at best. The greens were grainy and the play was slow. The back nine was much more engaging and almost made up for the dismal front 9. The front nine was played between condos and resort guests were constantly walking across fairways or digging in bushes for lost balls. With no GPS in the carts a course map would have been nice. I would not play Reserve again. I was looking forward to playing the other course (Legends) and was glad to get there for our second round. Posted by Rogue.
4/3/2008 - OK course - priced higher than other courses that were in better shape. Posted by Thomas (Stony Point, NY).
3/31/2008 - Tight course as it winds in among the villas. More difficult than The Legends which is more open and prettier.
Posted by Susan (Melrose, FL).
3/28/2008 - Decent Resort course, no real complaints, but no real greatness either. Plays very short so play from tips for any type of challenge. Posted by Paul (Piscataway, NJ).
3/27/2008 - A little difficult to find from our accomodations, and I have played here before! The course, staff and fascilities were all very good......only complaint was that the greens had no hold being very hard with very short grass.......time of year???
Posted by Doug (Berrie, ON CANADA).
3/16/2008 - This course was okay. Everything went on schedule. We did get a golf cart that quit running toward the end of the round. Posted by Bob (Alliance, OH).
3/6/2008 - Excellent. Posted by Joseph (Harrisburg, PA).
3/6/2008 - Legends course was in great shape. Only thing I did not like was they changed tee times on us. We were scheduled for 7:00 and next 4 times. When we got there we were told it was 7:27 and next 4 times. Not a big deal since we got our 36 holes in, but we book 7am to make sure all groups finish 36.

2/29/2008 - The course was pretty easy to find and directions provided were satisfactory. The course itself was average at best. The greens were grainy and the play was slow. I was looking forward to playing the other course (Legends) and was glad to get there for our second round. I would probably not play Reserve again. Posted by Tommy (Bartonville, IL).
2/7/2008 - Very nice course. Excellent condition and challenging. Worth playing again. Posted by Barbara (Victor, NY).
1/26/2008 - Probably my least favorite of the trip. Course is fine but too many fairways are along a road or condos. With the water level down in all the ponds, it was pretty dismal. Posted by Jay (Decatur, IL).
1/26/2008 - Great shape, short, good for a warm up, but not that interesting compared to the Legends. Posted by Eugene (Northport, NY).
1/14/2008 - Great golf course. Appreciated the nature setting and the challenge offered by the golf course (cypress, pines and many sand traps). Posted by Rachelle.
12/20/2007 - Great course. Great staff. Posted by Frank (Cheswick, PA).
11/19/07 - Good and fair, but at times a challenging course. Nice and close to everything. Good value. Posted by Robin (Canada).
11/19/07 - Course in good condition for the time of year. The front nine has narrow fairways lined with condos so you need to be hitting straight! Back nin fairways are wider with less encroachment of homes. Posted by Paul (Bethlehem, PA).
11/05/07 - Enjoyable experience. Very nice course in good conditon. Posted by Steven (Venice, FL).
