3/18/2010 - The greens lived up to their reviews. The rest of the course was ok. Posted by Steve (Powell, OH)

2/11/2010 - Nice greens, friendly, nice pace. Would recommend.
Posted by Monte (Butler, KY)

1/13/2010 - This is kind of a dog track. No ball washers. Not particularly friendly for female golfers. Greens were OK, otherwise I would not reccomend this course. Posted by James (Peoria, IL)

9/25/2008 - A nice course. It was in relatively good shape and was fun to play. Posted by Robert (Greensboro, GA).

5/1/2008 - They had no idea we were coming. Either a mix up with their computer system or the new person behind the counter didn't know what he was doing. They still got us out because they were not busy. Posted by Andrew (Reading, PA).

4/28/2008 - Very poor shape, rough greens. Would not play again. Posted by Bill (Pewaukee, WI).

3/21/2008 - Well the course has just been taken over by new management and conditions were not quite up to the usual standards. Given time I would think this course will recover.
Posted by Greg (Sterling Hts, MI).

2/28/2008 - The Claw has some memorable holes but could use some TLC. Old style Bermuda greens were slow but we got accustomed quickly. The entire facility is a little run down looking. The staff in the grill was excellent. We replayed 9 holes for $8 so we appreciated that. We were not disappointed; we got what we expected. Posted by Roger (Simpsonville, SC).

2/28/2008 - Nothing spectacular about the course, but it plays very fair with a variety of challenges. Posted by Doug (Coloma, MI).

2/27/2008 - Fun course. Quality was good for the price. Posted by Larry (Omaha, NE)

2/7/2008 - On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the best, I would rate this a 6. The greens were sanded so difficult to judge speed. The atmosphere was a little depressing. On my next trip I will give this a miss. Posted by Zahed (Richmond Hill, Canada).

This course is long and demanding with one of the highest slope ratings for a public course in the Tampa area. It was cut out of a swamp that still frequently comes into play. Many of the greens are elevated, and some natural wildlife is visible on the course.
