2/11/2010 - Meticulously kept and very challenging. My group considered this the most difficult of the three courses we played. Posted by Robert (Cumberland, RI)

2/11/2010 - We all loved this course, but it was a little far to drive. Course was in good shape and yes would play again. Posted by Steve (Muskogee, OK)

4/29/2009 - We're three Canadian golfers who come to Florida to golf one week every year, in April, 2009. We played these Bradenton area courses: River Club - a disappointment, not as good as the last time we played there. Stoneybrook - great course for our average skill level. Legacy - terrific course and experience. Waterlefe - great course - maybe a bit too difficult for our average ability level. River Strand- great course and experience. University - terrific course and experience. Posted by Dan (Cambridge, ON CANADA)

4/3/2009 - Greens suffered frost damage and many were in very poor shape. Fairways needed water. Have played course several times before and enjoyed it but not this time. Didn't help that they didn't disclose the greens problem until after you had paid and then understated the problem. Posted by Mark

3/31/2009 - This place is always fun to play. The course was in good shape and the workers are great. It's worth checking out if you are in the Bradenton area. Posted by Wayne (Elmont, NY)

3/20/2009 - Very average course. Not a good value. There are much better courses in the area for the same price. Posted by Bob.

3/20/2009 - Disappointing especially at that price. Dryness has hurt the course. Will not go back. Posted by Jon (Elgin, IL)

2/26/2009 - Older layout. Very open. Name is misleading, very little water trouble. Greens ran pretty good, 9+ on stimp. Fairways in good shape. Shot a 71 first time I saw this course so definitely not tough. Main problem is lack of signage (easy to miss next tee box) and yardage markers. Course is privately owned so have not put a lot into updates or clubhouse. Just good basic golf course. Posted by 5.6 handicap.

1/15/2009 - Course condition was very mediocre. Probably will not play next year. Posted by Bill (Clarksburg, WV).

11/29/2008 - Nice layout, poor condition. Posted by Ronald (Toronto, Canada).

11/13/2008 - Nice course and good layout. I would play it again. Posted by John (Philadelphia, PA).

5/29/2008 - Name misleading..no river, but a nice enough track. Nice clubhouse. Course is in the middle of a housing development. Good greens, good layout...would play again. Posted by David (Flatwoods, KY).

5/27/2008 - Great grounds and nice layout. A little far from Clearwater (1.5 hr drive), but glad I played. Would play again. Posted by William.

5/9/2008 - Nice track. Posted by Stephen (Burlington, Canada).

4/28/2008 - Best course we played this year. Excellent shape, top notch conditions throughout. Definitely will play again. Posted by Bill (Pewaukee, WI).

3/22/2008 - The favorite course of our trip. Every hole was different from the rest. Very interesting layout, and in very good shape. A couple of the greens were not good, but the rest of the course was excellent and the staff were very kind and helpful. Posted by Mark (St. Croix Falls, WI).

3/13/2008 - Great layout, good conditioning, good service, what more could you ask for. Posted by Larry (Winnipeg, WT).

3/6/2008 - Very enjoyable round of golf. Couse was in good condition considering the time of year. Posted by Jerry (Lees Summit, MO).

3/6/2008 - Would not play this course again. We compare this course to some $40.00 courses we have played. Posted by Nelson (St Catharines, ON CANADA).

2/28/2008 - Relatively short track. Narrow, shot-making course. Small greens with undulations. Average maintenance. Fairly close to I-75 (just west of I-75).

2/28/2008 - Really nice older course in great condition. Some interesting holes. Good luck on 16 to the island green. Posted by Kurt (Collingswood, NJ).

2/4/2008 - Good greens. We all liked this course. Would play again. Posted by Chas (Camberley, United Kingdom).

2/1/2008 - Good course -- interesting layout - greens average. Enjoyble round. Posted by Tom (Grand Rapids, MI).

2/1/2008 - The course was in excellent shape and challenging for us with water in play on most holes. We did enjoy playing and will include it next year. Posted by Bob (Huntington, NY).

11/14/07 - We enjoy the layout of this course, fun to play. Posted by Denis (Canada).

11/2/07 - Another course that should not be missed. A great selection of challenging holes. Posted by Dirk (Ridgewood, NJ).
