3/18/2010 - Nice course, greens not in very good shape. Posted by Charlie (Ballston Lake, NY)

3/15/2010 - Tough course but enjoyable. Lots of wildlife. Gators, turtles and deer. Posted by Kevin (Elrose, Canada)

3/4/2010 - The Forrest course at the Eagles is a good eighteen holes. Course should consider distance information from tee to water hazards(where applicable) and more layout maps on the course. Posted by Kenneth (Rochester, NY)

2/11/2010 - Course was way too crowded. Main concern was playing FAST. Ranger advised my group to hurry even though there wasn't a group directly behind us. I would not recommend this course to anyone, nor play it again. Posted by Monte (Butler, KY)

11/1/2009 - Would not recommend this course at all. Layout was bad, no signs telling how the hole plays, etc. Posted by Michael (Broomall, PA)

4/29/2009 - Did not like this course. Mediocre condition. Too many people. Not very attractive.

4/3/2009 - It's a nice course and the replay rate is equal to the cart fee. Posted by Bud (Cincinnati, OH)

4/2/2009 - The course was nice. It was a good challenge and the wildlife was great. Posted by Gene (Dedham, MA)

3/27/2009 - I don't know why they call this course 'Forest.' There's more water here than on the 'Lakes' course. We had some problems with the greens because of the drought conditions, and again, no one appeared at the rounds end to clean our clubs if wanted. The course itself was enjoyable. Posted by John (Rego Park, NY)

3/14/2009 - Very nice course. Played second 18-hole course on the same day for $30. Would definitely play again.
Posted by Gary (Morton Grove, IL)

3/5/2009 - Forest Course, nice and challenging. Somewhat dried out and very crowded. Have played much better courses in the Tampa area. Posted by Waltz

2/5/2009 - Nice course. Would like to play again. Posted by Glenn (Ashland, NH)

12/22/2008 - Course was in very poor shape. I would not play this course again. Posted by Steve.

12/18/2008 - Always a staple of our trip in Novemer 10 years now. Folks are great and course is always in good shape. Posted by Paul (Holland Landing, Canada).

6/6/2008 - Fair. Posted by Ron (Forest Hill, MD).

5/27/2008 - Great course in Tampa area. Gators on the grounds, good for sight seeing. But, would play again. Posted by William (Flagler Beach, FL).

4/11/2008 - Golf course was fine and greens in good shape, no complaints. Posted by Stan (Valley Stream, NY).

3/24/2008 - Played the Forest course that has plenty of water. Posted by Robert (Winsted, CT).

3/22/2008 - Nice course with good pace of play. Posted by Dave (Cincinnati, OH).

2/29/2008 - Excellent course and facility. Posted by Shannon (Detroit, MI).

2/29/2008 - A must play and would recommand. The group and I were very pleased with the course and staff. Posted by Shannon (Detroit, MI).

2/27/2008 - Nice course and good layout with good mix of water, trees, challenges. Highly recommended in this price category.
Posted by Larry (Omaha, NE).

2/27/2008 - We thought it was going to be the best of the three courses we played (Fox Hollow and Westchase), it was easily the worst of the three, I would not recommend it to others. Course was in very poor shape versue the other two, we had our best scores of the weekend but lowest course satisfaction. Posted by James.

1/7/2008 - We give it 2.5 stars. Posted by Takao (Battle Creek, MI).

The Eagles is a "must-play golf course" on your visit to Tampa. Located just north of Tampa Bay Downs Race Track, The Eagles features two 18-hole golf courses surrounded by more than 30 lakes, ponds and canals. The Lakes course sports an abundance of water hazards, elevated greens and many fairway bunkers. Large oaks are scattered throughout this Ron Garl and Gary Koch design. The Forest Course features the signature island-green sixth hole which rivals the famous 17th hole at TPC Sawgrass. The greens were recently regrassed with Champion Ultradwarf Bermuda, the grass about which the PGA Tour players are raving. Visitors from the North have said, "They roll just like bent grass greens." These two outstanding championship courses are kept in tournament condition year round. The Eagles has all the amenities and ambiance of a private club: lounge, canopied terrace and restaurant with panoramic views. The friendliest staff in the Tampa Bay area and great food to finish off your round are waiting for you at The Eagles.
