About Whistling Straits The Straits Course
Arguably the greatest championship course in the United States, the Straits at Whistling Straits has hosted the 2004 and 2010 PGA Championships and is the host course for the 2015 PGA Championship. Additionally, the Straits will host the 2020 Ryder Cup. The Straits is open, rugged and has windswept terrain that defines the course which is sculpted along two miles of Lake Michigan shoreline. The Straits has fescue fairways and massive sand dune bunkers. Hall-of-fame designer Pete Dye created a unique masterpiece that has some of the most interesting green complexes a golfer will ever see and with sheep roaming the course, you would never believe you are in Kohler, Wisconsin. Currently ranked #2 on the America's 100 Greatest Public Courses by Golf Digest, along with the coveted and rated 5 stars award, the Straits course is surely a bucket list once-in-a-lifetime course to play.

Booking on the The Straits at Whistling Straits required an additional round to be booked on either The Irish at Whistling Straits or The Meadow Valleys at Blackwolf Run.

Caddies are required before twilight, also reservations are required for caddies and forecaddies.
