3/6/2013 - Played this course over a dozen times in February.
Course itself has wide fairways and is quite forgiving mostly, but some holes are challenging due water features. There's a 12 foot alligator that can be seen from time-to-time sunning himself on the bank of the lake near the 13th fairway. Driving range and pitching areas were well used by me to try and imnprove my game!
The pace of golf is good - no 4 ball rounds took over 4 hours.
Staff are extremely pleasant and helpful. Super tasty seafood salad in the restaurant area. Definitely recommend Tatum Ridge. Posted by Stephen Swiss (St. John'S, NL CANADA .)

9/1/2011 - I've played here many times when visiting my parents as it is close to their apartment. A nice course in good condition with a fair number of interesting holes. 9/18/2008 - Great golf for the price. Flat, like most Florida courses, but many interesting holes winding their way around the ponds and streams. Very good condition, convenient location, and accommodating staff make Tatum Ridge an excellent choice.

The course is located in Sarasota, east of I-75.
From the I-75 / SR 780 (exit 210 / Fruitville Rd)
intersection:Take Fruitville Rd (Rte 780) east to Tatum Rd.
(approx. 2 miles east of the intersection of I-75 and
Fruitville Rd.). Turn left and take Tatum Rd north. Follow

This Scottish links style course blends beautifully with its natural surroundings and plays well to golfers of all abilities. Tatum Ridge Golf Links is set amid preserved wetlands and lakes, where nature's beauty and wildlife abound. This Ted McAnlis design features a fair amount of water and enough challenge to make this a memorable round. The 13th hole is this course's signature - a 504-yard, par-5 dogleg over water. The course is always well maintained.
