1/31/2011 - great golf course, lots of bunkers, very challenging, great staff, met some great golfers as usual, nice flat course, lots of dog legs and no gaters that we seen Posted by Patricia (Napanee, ON)

12/10/2010 - Another good course. Fairways were a little patchy in places but the wildlife more than made up for that. Again lots of water. The 8 of us lost 77 balls here. Making it the toughest we played. Some tough approaches and drives. Water everywhere. Go fully loaded with balls! Posted by Andy (St. John's, NL CANADA)

12/5/2010 - Wow, they have really turned this place around. Greens were in excellent shape....very fast and true. Staff was great especially the cart girls...playing here made my friends feel like we were at a private course. Played the course across the street and thought out of the two The Preserve was in much better shape. Pace of play was not an issue at all played 18 in just under 4 hours. Great layout, great staff, keep up the good work. Posted by Mike

12/3/2010 - To much water. Average course Posted by Henry (Warwick, PA)

11/19/2010 - The nicest of the three courses I played. Challenging course, variety of different holes. A nice experience. Posted by Peter (Summit, NJ)

3/9/2010 - Nice course - lots of lost balls on this one - had a great round and would play it again. Posted by Berta (Chatham, Canada)

2/11/2010 - Water, water everywhere. A beautiful and challenging course. Saw two alligators. Posted by Robert (Cumberland, RI)

2/5/2010 - Liked the course alot. But had to wait for carts and play was very slow for 9 holes. We'd give it 3 1/2 stars. Posted by Janice (Waupun, WI)

12/4/2009 - Nice shape. Preferred course for my wife. Found it very fair. Not busy so no pressure from following group. Posted by Mick (Mississagua, Canada)

11/27/2009 - This was our first course of seven and was not too difficult a start. Lots of water to avoid, but the greens were a little on the slow side having been hollowtined and were a bit sandy. However they were true. Posted by Gary (Birmingham, United Kingdom)

11/6/2009 - Fun golf course in good shape. Posted by Gene (Saddle River, NJ)

5/4/2009 - Again, nice course. Posted by David (Holly, MI)

4/20/2009 - Talk about having a great time golfing. The Preserve was voted the "Best" course we played on our golfing trip. The forced carry over water brought out the best in a few of us, and offered comic relief for others. We enjoyed seeing all the wildlife and nature that the course had to offer. Our group played all 36 holes and if there had been sunlight available we would have played more. The Preserve is the kind of course that make you feel that you could have played better even when you played your best. I walked away thinking that I should have shot par even though I shot 80. The long and tight par 3's sent chills down the spine of a couple guys in my group. Our big dog drivers were feed well on the long par 4's. Course management was critical in scoring on the par 5's. I am not sure who's the course designer, but it seemed that the course design required one to be truly honest about ones ability when taking each shot. The hazards and marsh were located in just the right spot to suck in your ball. One member of our group lost 20 balls over 36 holes and he is not a bad ball striker. Well, not as bad as his score indicated. All in all we had a wonderful time at the Preserve and look forward to improving our score and game the next time we play here. The Preserve GC at Tara was in the best shape of all the courses we played on our golfing trip. My compliments to the course and staff at the Preserve. Posted by Horace (Shelby Twp, MI)

4/5/2009 - Very scenic and challenging, excellent greens, a must play course. Posted by Bill

4/3/2009 - Nice Track! Some housing around but really not much of a concern. Was a little worried about the rumors of slow play here, but played in 4 hours in AM round and 4 1/2 in pm round so no worries there. Course was in good shape and well laid out. My favorite of the 5 we played. Posted by C S NH

3/31/2009 - The layout was average and the condition of the course was very ragged. Fairways and greens were very spotty. I'd never go back to this place to play again. Posted by Wayne (Elmont, NY)

2/24/2009 - Nice course, requests clever course management, well kept. Posted by Karl (Hamburg, Germany)

2/5/2009 - People very nice. Course in nice condition but too many doglegs. Posted by Kathleen (Marcellus, NY)

12/11/2008 - Fastly becoming best conditioning course in Sarasota area. Great greens and fairways, several sets of tees for every golfer. Definitely will play again next year! Posted by Robert (Scarborough, Canada).

12/1/2008 - Quite challenging with many forced carries.

5/19/2008 - Nice course. I would put on the same level as Rosedale. Probably would not play again, unless another course I wanted to play was not available during my vacation time. Posted by Karen (Chesterfield Township, MI).

4/30/2008 - Very well designed tract, had GPS which is always appreciated. Personnel were all exceedingly helpful and courteous. Somewhat pricey, but rates lessen on May 1. Will play here again. Posted by Charles (Somerdale, NJ).

4/23/2008 - Decent course, condition was a little rough near the end of the high season - greens and fairways seemed dry and worn. Posted by Ben (Gross Point Woods, MI).

3/21/2008 - Now amongst the best greens in the area. Posted by J.P. (Sarasota, FL).

3/13/2008 - We loved this course. It is designed to be so golfer friendly. I loved how ice machines and cups were set outside for you to access. I was impressed at how reasonable the golf shop was - we purchased a few items inside. Would love to go back.

1/25/2008 - Good course, challenging, good greens and GPS is always handy. Posted by James (Brinston, Canada).

10/19/07 - It was better than expected. Would return to plat it again! Posted by Natalie (Naples, FL).
