2/26/2009 - Older layout. Very open. Name is misleading, very little water trouble. Greens ran pretty good, 9+ on stimp. Fairways in good shape. Shot a 71 first time I saw this course so definitely not tough. Main problem is lack of signage (easy to miss next tee box) and yardage markers. Course is privately owned so have not put a lot into updates or clubhouse. Just good basic golf course. Posted by 5.6 handicap.

Take I-75 north to exit 41- SR 70. Take SR 70 east for 1½
miles and the entrance to River Club development is on your
right. Follow signs to the golf course.

The golf course is located just east of I-75 in Bradenton,
exit 217.
From the I-75 / SR 70 (exit 217) intersection:
Take SR 70 east to the entrance of the River Club
development on your right hand side (approx 1 1/2 miles past
the intersection of I-75 and SR 70). Turn right and follow
the signs to the pro-shop.
Directions from Isla del Sol:
Take Rt. 682/Pinellas Bayway east to I-275. Take I-275 south
to I-75. Take I-75 south toward Naples to exit 41- SR 70.
Take SR 70 east for 1½ miles and the entrance to River Club
development is on your right. Follow signs to the golf
course.
