1/12/2012 - Good course, great value Posted by Lester (St. John'S, NL CANADA) 12/4/2011 - Arrived with a group of eight from the Ottawa region and looked at the list from teetimes for suggestions. Of all 6 courses played Oak ford was the most deceiving and will not be in our list for next year. The price was a little cheaper than the other courses played but for a few bucks more the results were lot better. Posted by Allan (Gatineau, QC CANADA) 5/6/2011 - Course layout was excellent. Conditions were good. Need some work on the greens, but I believe they had started the repairs...People were great and more than accommodating. Great experience. Would play again Posted by Yves (Orleans, ON) 3/30/2011 - Great layout. Different. Challenging. Fair. Posted by Michael (Center Harbor, NH) 3/20/2011 - A nice couse. No exceptional features, but well worth playing. Posted by John (Spotsylvania, VA) 3/18/2011 - Typical Florida course. Not bad Posted by Tom (Windsor, MA) 12/3/2010 - Enjoyable Posted by Reynir (300 Akrane, ICELAND) 11/8/2010 - Always well run and enjoyable. Posted by Dirk (Ridgewood, NJ) 11/8/2010 - Always well run and enjoyable. Posted by Dirk (Ridgewood, NJ) 10/16/2010 - Very nice. Gives the feeling of being someplace remote - because you are! Posted by Michael (St. John's, NL CANADA) 5/21/2010 - Course was in good condition. This is the second time I have played this course. The course doesn't get much play because of its location. I understand it is a real bargain, even in the higher cost winter season. It is reasonable for senior players who aren't particularly long off the tee. All three of the players that I played with were from the local community. Posted by Wayne (Annapolis, MD) 3/20/2010 - Can't beat it for the money. Posted by Tom (Sheffield, MA) 1/21/2010 - Highly recommended. Posted by David (Brick, NJ) 4/2/2009 - The course was in good shape. The staff was very friendly and the "club house" was adaquate. A good value for the afternoon tee time. Posted by Carl (Westford, MA) 3/17/2009 - Oak Ford is a first class course that tests all handicaps. I played there some twelve years earlier and am glad that I returned. I will do so again in 2010. You should take the trip down and experience the course for yourself. You wont be disappointed. Posted by Jim Horne (Tillicoultry, N/A UNITED KINGDOM) 3/11/2009 - Oak Ford is a great course and probably my favorite anywhere. The course is dry due to the weather in Florida, but the greens are great and the layout is fantastic. Play here if you can. Posted by James (Lima, OH) 2/1/2008 - Found the course in good shape and fun to play especially for our relatively low level of play. Posted by Bob Festa (Huntington, NY). |
