4/13/2012 - This is simply a great golf facility. Wonderful course conditions, a very strong test of golf, really good dining facilities and a relaxing atmoshpere. We went here on our last day and made use of the shower facilities before heading to the airport (the on-site attendant was a nice touch). This is a great finishing course if you are prepared to part with the money. Posted by John (St. John'S, NL CANADA)

1/29/2012 - The staff were very helpful in arranging the rounds so we could get everything in. Played South/North and New Course. The New Course is a nice change in venue from standard tracks but still plays tough even though it is open like a links course. Posted by Mike (Potomac, MD)
1/23/2012 - Well maintained course, but many holes had shared fairway/green. Posted by Hyun (Valley Stream, NY)

11/17/2011 - Fabullous course. We had fun with a golf course european style. And finally some grass on which you can play nearly normaly.
Mint condition as the LPGA was playing the week after. Posted by Patrick (1213 Petit-lancy, SWITZERLAND)
11/17/2011 - Have played many times over the years.Always a unique and most enjoyable golf expereience in Florida. Posted by Bob (Mahwah, NJ)
11/10/2011 - I highly recommend to anybody going on a golf trip to Orlando to play as many of these 45 holes as you can. The mounding around the greens made chipping an adventure, but the guys did a fantastic job mowing it, with no scalping at all. Very pretty courses. Posted by David (Windsor Locks, CT)
10/31/2011 - great course - very challenging Posted by Craig (Indianapolis, IN)
10/31/2011 - actually played the 'new' course. It was great, links style at its best. Posted by Craig (Indianapolis, IN)
10/15/2011 - Great conditions to play in and if you like links-style courses, the New Course should be a fun romp. The fast greens were to my liking and the aesthetics were very pleasant, but not spectacular. There's a lot of idiosyncracies- several double greens and if you miss your approach you can end up miles away from the flag due to the sometimes severe slopes on and around the greens. The Nicklaus design team always seems to put a bunker in the fairway at some point, but here about a third of the holes have bunkers there. That's a bit too many for my liking, but I'm no connoisseur of links layouts, so I'm not a good one to judge. The driving range was irons-only, so that added a little stress not knowing how my tee shots were going to come off, but I actually had a rare accurate day anyway. I loaded and unloaded my own cart and didn't see any staff around offering to help, but I don't need to be pampered so that wasn't a big deal to me. The other course seen from the road coming in looks very nice too, and I'll definitely give it a shot next time I'm there based on the conditions I enjoyed at the New Course. All in all a fine day and a fun and unique round of golf. My proudest moment was 2-putting from about 110 feet on one of the double greens. (That's gotta be a first!) Posted by Chris (St. John'S, NL CANADA)

12/22/2010 - We played the South East combination in the morning. The green can be improved a bit. The New course in the afternoon gave us a feel playing in St. Andrews especially they ordered the right weather when we were there - cold and windy. Definitely we will play here again next year. Posted by RC (Canada)
12/20/2010 - Very nice golf club. It was fun to play and the personnel were friendly and helpful. The only negative was the security with the LPGA tournament going on. I would recommend this course to anyone going to play golf in Orlando. Posted by Bob (Richland, MI)

Posted by Paul (N. Wales, United Kingdom)
10/28/2010 - Played north and east courses. North was much nicer. The east course was ragged and looked to be in a period of transition to winter grass. Great staff and club house. Posted by Fred (Pittsburgh, PA)

7/23/2010 - Great staff. From the moment you drive up to the course you're treated special. Both courses are in great shape. Played the new course in the morning then North/South after lunch. We were there during the Open. There were many TV's to watch in the clubhouse, which was relaxing between rounds. Posted by Bob (Webster, NY)
7/6/2010 - This is a repeat course for my group. The new course has a very unique layout. North/South course is more traditional. Staff bends over backwards to treat you like a member of a country club. Posted by Brian (Ft. Washington, PA)

2/26/2010 - The New course is just like Links course in UK. It was very enjoyable. Posted by Masahiro (New York, NY)
2/26/2010 - My new favorite course in Florida! We played the "New Course" first and it was just like being at St. Andrews. Then we finished 18 on the North and South courses and it was a totally different experience. This will be #1 on my list to play next year. Posted by Dave (Hudson, NH)
2/26/2010 - The course was tough but very challenging and I need to return here. The reception by the club was quite good. Posted by Masahiro (New York, NY)
2/20/2010 - Grand Cypress is always one of the best courses we play in Orlando. Love the New Course, the North/South combination has gotten a little stale. Posted by Bruce (Williamsburg, VA)
2/5/2010 - Six stars for the golf course (North/South). Simply fantastic. Best of trip. One of the best inland courses I've played. Beautiful clubhouse and restaurant, but service is slooooow and not entirely cheerful from the wait staff. Not up to snuff compared to the perfection that surrounds them. Book on a Sunday morning to receive a great deal from Tee Times USA. Posted by Mark (London, Canada)

9/25/2009 - First class resort with beautiful clubhouse/ facilities. Played the New course. Links style course. Kind of fun trying to avoid the pot bunkers but does not have the eye appeal of other courses we played. Then again, that is the idea of a links course, I guess. Took advantage of free replay and played the North/South 9's. Much more of a traditional layout and in great shape. Would highly recommend. Posted by Jim (Oreland, PA)

11/20/2008 - It's a jewel. The staff was great and the courses, South-East and New Course were incomparable. The only negative was that the GPS wasn't available on the day we were there. Pricey, but the best of the best. A must play. Posted by Steve (Johnston, RI).
11/13/2008 - Nothing too exciting here. Run of the mill courses, no GPS or decent fairway markings. It was okay but I wouldn't go back again. Too many other nice courses in the Orlando area.

2/1/2008 - Great course. We played the new course that was like St. Andrews. Loads of fun and the the course was in great shape. Nice fairways and greens that were quick and in great shape. The entire staff was great. Wish we could have played their other courses. We will next year. Posted by Sandy (Missouri City, TX).
12/13/2007 - Great shape and very playable. Posted by Mike (Saratoga, NY).
12/12/2007 - It is a beautiful course, North and South. The starter and staff are extremely helpful. Posted by Foun-Chung (Livingston, NJ).

"The two original nines (the North and South) are now 18 years old but remain the Resort's best challenge. The East nine came on board in 1986, while the New Course, a links-style track inspired by the Old Course at St. Andrews, opened in 1988. All 45 holes were designed by Jack Nicklaus." Tom Mackin, Golf Magazine, November 2002.
