8/20/2011 - Returned to Highlands Reserve on first day of trip. Really lovely course to start with - friendly reception, good practice facility and well presented, not too tough links-style course. Great value too. Quiet in the summer months so we could play as a two ball and we barely saw another sole all round - Millionaires' Golf! Will definitely return here again next time. 4/1/2010 - Decent course, challenging enough for the 1st day of our trip. Plenty of bare spots on most greens from last year's aeration, but the ball rolled smoothly nonetheless. We really wanted and needed to use the practice range, but the facility was so small that we had to line up for a spot like it was the men's room at an NFL stadium. 3/4/2010 - Enjoyable course. Too bad the winter was so hard and the grass was beat down. We would like to play that one again when the Bermuda greens up. We rated this course better than Orange Lake and Diamondback, but lower than Royal St. Cloud.

3/23/2008 - Great golf course and staff. The night before we played the area got 2.5 inches of rain, we had a 7:30am tee time and you would have never known that it rained the night before. The course was in great shape, excellent drainage. we were allowed to drive the carts on the fairway. This course was built on the site of a former orange grove and natural preserve area. The rolling layout features open fairways and large greens, some double or triple-tiered. The signature hole is #16, a 385-yard, par 4, which captures the essence of this course as challenging yet fair. The hole plays uphill to a large green, which slopes in the middle.

This course was built on the site of a former orange grove and natural preserve area. The rolling layout features open fairways and large greens, some double or triple-tiered. The signature hole is #16, a 385-yard, par 4, which captures the essence of this course as challenging yet fair. The hole plays uphill to a large green, which slopes in the middle.

The golf course is located west of US 27 in Davenport, south
of Orlando.
From the I-4 / US Hwy 192 (exit 64 B) intersection: Take US
192 west to US27. Take US 27 south to Highlands Reserve Blvd
(approx. 3 miles south of the intersection of US 27 and US
192). Take Highlands Reserve Blvd west and follow the signs
to the pro-shop (on site at Island Club West).
Directions from Orlando Airport:
Go to Rte 528 (Beeline Expwy).Take Rte 528 (Beach Line
Expwy) west to I-4.
Take I-4 west (Tampa) to exit 64B (US 192 West). Take US 192
west to US27. Take US 27 south to Highlands Reserve Blvd
(approx. 3 miles south of the intersection of US 27 and US
192). Take Highlands Reserve Blvd west and follow the signs
to the pro-shop (on site at Island Club West).
