1/26/2012 - We liked this course the best of the three that we played. We were very well treated by staff. The course was in very good condition. Having handicaps of 10 - 20, we found that the gold tees were just right for us. Posted by Kevin (Portage, MI) 12/2/2011 - One of the best 3 courses we played. Beautiful layout, nice greens. To be played again. Posted by Serge (Marieville, QC CANADA) 12/2/2011 - Beautiful course, in great condition. Most of our group felt it was somewhat hard, but the better golfers loved it. Holes played longer than the yardage seemed to indicate, but the greens were nice and putted well. Posted by Larry (Davenport, IA) 11/17/2011 - Very nice course with elevated greens. Posted by Patrick (1213 Petit-lancy, SWITZERLAND) 11/17/2011 - A super test of golf, great condition...killed us off the back tees into the wind! Fantastic layout... Posted by Warren (Norfolk UK) (NR14 8EN Norfolk, UNITED KINGDOM) 11/11/2011 - very nice, would play again. Received well by course. Posted by Charlie (Cromwell, CT) 11/11/2011 - Beautiful course. Well maintained. Will definitely play it again. Posted by James C. (Port Orange, FL) 10/31/2011 - Very good resort course, good variation in holes. a good challenge. tough pins the day we played. Posted by Craig (Indianapolis, IN) 10/15/2011 - This course is a one we enjoy year after year to play . This is the biggest bargain in Orlando area and a real challenge. The bunkers are severe around the greens. Posted by Daniel ,St-Hyacinthe Qc (St. Hyacinthe, QC CANADA) 10/14/2011 - Grande Pines lives upto Grande name, excellent course with great options due to numerous tee boxes and large greens. Having played previously in 90's when the International so glad I played again, what a great golf course. Posted by Allan (KY1 12PQ Rosyth, UNITED KINGDOM) 10/7/2011 - Great course and a good test of golf. Thoroughly enjoyed it Posted by Ian Fox (G69 8LE Glasgow, UNITED KINGDOM) 8/6/2011 - Fantastic shape and layout. Would definitly play again. Having your name and time on the cart and nice touch. Posted by Robert (Kenora, ON CANADA) 7/25/2011 - Nice course. Well maintained. Posted by JPH (Delray Beach, FL) 7/2/2011 - What a beautiful course, each hole was magnificently framed, and the course was in great condition compared to most others played on our trip. The 2nd hole is the toughest we played in 6 rounds. Bring plenty of balls Posted by A (Woking, Gu21 3bp, UNITED KINGDOM) 5/27/2011 - Golf course was awesome. Very good shape and good variety of holes Can't wait to get back! Posted by John (Coral Springs, FL) 5/23/2011 - A very challenging and demanding course in great shape. Friendly and helpful staff, good infrastructure. Posted by Hans-Peter (Allschwil, SWITZERLAND) 5/20/2011 - Course was in great condition and a great day was had. Posted by Allan (Leven, Scotland) 3/17/2011 - Loved the course. Very well kept. Plan on playing here again on our next trip. Excellent greens. Posted by Bill (Westfield, MA) 1/21/2011 - fun and enjoyable course. will go again. Posted by Kun (Lake Forest, IL) 1/13/2011 - We arrived at Grand Pines to find our carts with names on them ready for our round. The course was in exceptional shape and very playable from the middle tees. Our two threesomes were each given a single player whom blended in well with each of our groups. Although the course was full of groups, pace of play was excellent. The greens were extremely good and steady putting from hole to hole. The free replay was available and we were able to take advantage of playing an extra 9 holes. The staff was very accommodating, professional and helpful. This is an excellent (and the most expensive of the golf courses we played but with the free replay we would recommend it for the value. Posted by Tim (Augusta, MI) 1/6/2011 - Very Nice. Staff helpful. Good value for money Posted by Jocelyn (Bedford, UNITED KINGDOM) 12/22/2010 - The course is well maintained. However, I find that the slope rating is overly rated. It should be lower as the course is not as difficult as the posted slope rating. Posted by RC (Canada) 12/4/2010 - A bit far from I4 but a very nice course with challenges. Very enjoyable restaurant for 19th hole. Posted by Benoit (St-Nicolas, QC CANADA) 11/26/2010 - Very nice course. Had a wonderful time. Posted by Gary (Portland, ME) 11/26/2010 - What can I say. You can't go wrong playing here. Have played it every trip to Orlando for the past 5 years. Always in good to very good condition. Each hole is different. No out and back course here. Another one of my favorite courses in the area. We will be playing it again in early April 2011. Posted by Jay (Basking Ridge, NJ) 11/23/2010 - Nice course and venue at a reasonable price. Posted by Bob (Mahwah, NJ) 11/22/2010 - Very nice course, nicely layed out, conditions were great, friendly and accomodating our last day, played before leaving for the airport, they allowed us to shower and clean up,which was great! Will definately play there again. Posted by Bill (Port Huron, MI) 10/24/2010 - Gorgeous course in good condition. Staff was helpful and attentive. Crowded and play was slow the day we played. Bunkers were very difficult for my skill level. Look forward to playing again on next trip. Posted by Rex (Farmington, MO) 10/19/2010 - Nice course and enjoyed playing, would go back. Posted by Nick (Markham, ON CANADA) 10/15/2010 - Had a great time. Course was in good shape. The cold towels we got from one of the timers on the back 9 were wonderful! Posted by Steve (Mint Hill, NC) 9/10/2010 - Golf course was in good shape even after all the rain. The best part about it was that there was barely anybody on the golf course so we were able to play 36 holes with no wait. Definitely would book it again. Posted by Aaron (Homestead, FL) 7/24/2010 - The staff was very helpful, plus the course was in great shape. The layout was beautiful and challenging. Looking forward to playing there again next year. Posted by Richard (Taunton, MA) 7/23/2010 - Great course and in excellent condition. The staff was great and the free replay was even better. Posted by Bob (Webster, NY) 6/20/2010 - Nice course, amenities and course older than others we played. Fairways and greens well maintained. Will probably explore others prior to returning. Posted by Brian (Bedford, Canada) 5/21/2010 - Great course, we enjoyed this course as well as as any. My girlfried cameback on Monday and played it again while I was in meetings. Posted by Jack (Sioux Falls, SD) 5/21/2010 - Enjoyed the course, perhaps a bit difficult for players with handicaps in the high teens. Posted by John (Monroe Twp, NJ) 5/7/2010 - We enjoyed playing this course. The green fees are a bit pricey for the condition of the course but it is a challenging and enjoyable course. Would play this course again. Posted by Eric (Cheticamp, Canada) 4/23/2010 - Course conditions were A1, superb greens, nice layout, worth the price, will play again for sure. Posted by Yvon (Bromont, Caanda) 3/24/2010 - All around a great place to play. The staff was great, the club house was very nice and had a great lunch. The course was in great shape and a pleasure to play. Great staff and condition. Tony (Clifton Park, NY) 3/18/2010 - Very nice, enjoyed it very much and would return. Posted by Pasquale (Durham, CT) 3/4/2010 - Outstanding course!! Posted by Chris (Toronto, ON Canada) 2/25/2010 - Good course, clubhouse and food a little below par. Lose the plastic glasses. Posted by Tom (Newton, MA) 2/22/2010 - Guys didn't like this one, too many buildings. Posted by Ron (Moon Stone, Canada) 2/11/2010 - Pro shop is a little small and hard to get around in, but the staff was nice. The course was a bit rough, even for January. Greens however were top notch. Posted by Gary (Indianapolis, IN) 1/14/2010 - I love this course. I enjoy it very much. Posted by Pierre (Bristol, CT) 11/25/2009 - Nice course, well maintained, fun to play. Good value for money except course was backed up and there were no rangers to keep play moving. Posted by Mike (Flagler Beach, FL) 10/8/2009 - Good course to play. Lots of good holes. Not a long course, but very enjoyable. Posted by James (West Lothian, United Kingdom) 6/27/2009 - Excellent. Good service, very friendly people work there. The course is very very good. Posted by Rita (San Juan, PR) 4/19/2009 - This was an excellent course. The fairways and the greens were in perfect shape. The staff is friendly and helpful. I will definitely play this course again and would recommend it to anyone. Posted by Eric 4/6/2009 - Perhaps the nicest course we played...beautiful, challenging but fair. Posted by Steve (Middletown, PA) 3/5/2009 - We played 36 holes. Very good greens...fun layout. Small shower facilities, but very enjoyable. Posted by Matthew (Avondale, PA) 3/2/2009 - Great course, very beautiful. Carts with coolers with ice..beverage cart girl was friendly and efficient...good service from everyone at the course..my favorite of the three places we played. Posted by Joan (N Barrington, IL) 2/27/2009 - Enjoyed in a big way. Treated very great. Made you feel very welcomed. Nice course. Posted by John (Grafton, WI) 2/26/2009 - Great track, would play again! Posted by Dennis (Maple Grove, MN) 2/6/2009 - Best course of the week. Very difficult. Beautiful course. Excellent clubhouse and restaurant. Posted by Darren (Lancaster, KY) 2/5/2009 - The course was in good condition and was a strong challenge to play but very enjoyable offering a real risk/reward element. The greens were quite tough with some big slopes meaning hitting the correct part of the green was important. Definitely recommend this, however make sure it is not your first round if you are on a golfing holiday as you need to know what shape your are hitting your shots to be able to plot your way round! Posted by Simon. 1/29/2009 - Very cold and windy day. Would not recognize the course from Old International. Keep driver in bag on second nine. Tough course which requires varying club choice especially on back nine. Enjoyed round. Posted by John (Dalkey Co, Ireland). 12/4/2008 - Totally perfect, the best amazing green I have ever played... A must! Posted by Eric. 12/3/2008 - Course in excellent condition. Have your best putting game with you or be prepared to have your heart broken. Fastest greens I've played on in a long time. Course staff were very good. Posted by Mel. 12/1/2008 - Beautiful course layout, nice greens. This course is really difficult and I am a 5 handicap. If you miss your spots you will be in trouble. Posted by David (Hebron, CT). 11/28/2008 - Was a challenging course but very playable. Nice staff at the course and a nice meal in the club house afterwards. Posted by Bill (Solon, IA). 9/18/2008 - Course was in great shape. The rough was a little too high and it was very hard to see/find the ball. You needed to be right on top of the ball in order to find it. Would be very difficult if there were a lot of people playing that day. Posted by Jim (Mississauga, Canada). 7/15/2008 - This course is quite a tough one with plenty of trouble in various ways, i.e., water, trees, sand, and elevated greens. Some of the holes were having work carried out on them when I played but it didn't detract from the experience too much. This course could quite easily make a fool of you (it did me!) but is definitely worth playing. Posted by Andy (Kent, England). 7/6/2008 - Good golf course. Posted by Chuck (Toronto, Canada). 5/19/2008 - Excellent course - great value through Tee Times USA. Posted by Craig (Wake Forest, NC). 5/17/2008 - Very tough resort course. Tightly bunkered greens that are very fast. Approach shots needed to be dialed in. Posted by Tim (Geoergetown, Canada). 5/1/2008 - Wow!!! A must play in Florida. Staff were friendly, course was unbelievable - great shape and lots of sand! A Faldo masterpiece! Posted by Kenneth (Forest, Canada). 5/1/2008 - Toughest course we played on the trip. It was beautiful with some great holes!! A lot of bunkers and water to be found (and we all found a lot of them). Thought it would be slower being as difficult as it was, but we moved through in good pace. Very friendly staff!! Posted by Clay (Flagler Beach, FL). 4/17/2008 - Course was in good condition and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Lightning fast greens and plenty of opportunities to get in trouble. Lots of fun. Posted by Rogue (Flagler Beach, FL). 4/3/2008 - Great layout. Could tell course had a lot of play because not all golfers filled their divots. I would play again. A little pricey for this course I thought. Posted by William (Naples, FL). 3/21/2008 - Seemed like a nice course, but was exceptionally challenging due to 50 mph winds that day. Posted by Dwight (Scarborough, ME). 3/16/2008 - Beeautiful course, very friendly staff. Wonderful day. Posted by Charles (Rossville, IN). 3/14/2008 - Man this course is tuff in the ruff! Don't go unless your a decent player, otherwise it's a long day. Posted by Steve (Philadelphi, PA). 3/7/2008 - Wounderful course in very good condition Course and services were all top notch. Posted by Robert (St. Louis, MO). 3/4/2008 - Excellent layout with good greens. Course conditions were still playable after a downpour. Location is convenient to Orlando airport. Posted by Don (Brighton, IL). 2/7/2008 - Nice golf course. We were very well treated by the staff at the course. Posted by John (New York, NY) 2/7/2008 - Very nice course. Perhaps a bit challenging for our foursome. Better bring your "A" game to this course. For the money, there are probably better courses. Posted by Daniel (St. Louis, MO) 2/1/2008 - Nice course, very player friendly. The pace was a drop slow, but not too bad. Staff made every attempt to keep the pace of play up. Posted by Bob (Laurel, MD). 1/17/2008 - Awesome course. My favorite of the three we played this year. Lots of trouble, need to be accurate off the tee. It helps to have played the course prior so as to know where to aim. Having stayed across the street at the Parc Corniche, we enjoyed playing this course for the challenge it provided and the proximity to the hotel. Posted by Andrew (N Kingstown, RI). 1/14/2008 - Excellent course. Very much challenging with its eighty something sand traps and long distance shots. The design is well done and permits the golfer to really appreciate the nature setting. I strongly recomend it this golf course. Posted by Rachelle. 12/3/07 - Incredibly fast greens. Challenging course. Need to be a shotmaker! Posted by Ryan. 11/20/07 - Course was in excellent condition and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Great round of golf. Posted by Robert (Melville, NY). 11/18/07 - One of our favorites. Tough, but fun to play. In excellent condition as always. Posted by Edward (Canada). 10/19/07 - Amazing course layout. However course is very tight and has little to no fairway rough on some holes. Shot making and accuracy required. Posted by Cliff (Toronto, Canada). 10/19/07 - Fun course. Had a great time. Staff very friendly. Posted by Doug (Montclair, NJ). 10/18/07 - Played this course twice during my holiday. Bunkers and water galore. Very hard, but what a beautiful course. Tees, fairways and greens all in excellent order. Great service throughout. Hope to play again in the future. Cheers. Posted by Anthony (Durham, United Kingdom) |
