5/8/2012 - Ocala Golf Club is one of the very best municipal courses you will play in Central FL. A great layout and the course conditioning is excellent. Greens are quick and fairways lush. One of my favorite courses in Ocala. The course superintendent and the City of Ocala are to be praised for their hard work in providing a superb golfing experience. and take NW 17th Ave / NW 25th Pl to W Silver Springs Blvd.
Turn left and take W Silver Springs Blvd for approximately
3.6 miles to the golf course on your right.

Architect Mike Beebe has brought back the historical design of the course and matched it with modern playability to provide golfers of all abilities a fun, yet challenging experience. Four sets of tees ranging from 4246 from the forward tees to 6552 from the tips guarantees a fit for everyone's game. One of the only four courses in the state of Florida with new Emerald Dwarf Bermuda greens, you will find a tight putting surface with very little grain. Short grass collection areas and white sand bunkers allow for a variety of shot options around the greens. There is no doubt that strategy is a key component of the game at Ocala Golf Club.
