9/20/2012 - The greens had not been cut or rolled. We were told to take 4 1/2 hours to finish 18 holes but we finished in 4 hrs and 15 min, yet the Marshal was cranky and kept on pushing us to speed up. There was nobody ahead or behind us. Well never go there or recommend it to anybody.

1/13/2011 - We arrived at Grand Pines to find our carts with names on them ready for our round. The course was in exceptional shape and very playable from the middle tees. Our two threesomes were each given a single player whom blended in well with each of our groups. Although the course was full of groups, pace of play was excellent. The greens were extremely good and steady putting from hole to hole. The free replay was available and we were able to take advantage of playing an extra 9 holes. The staff was very accommodating, professional and helpful. This is an excellent (and the most expensive of the golf courses we played but with the free replay we would recommend it for the value. 2/5/2009 - The course was in good condition and was a strong challenge to play but very enjoyable offering a real risk/reward element. The greens were quite tough with some big slopes meaning hitting the correct part of the green was important. Definitely recommend this, however make sure it is not your first round if you are on a golfing holiday as you need to know what shape your are hitting your shots to be able to plot your way round!

7/15/2008 - This course is quite a tough one with plenty of trouble in various ways, i.e., water, trees, sand, and elevated greens. Some of the holes were having work carried out on them when I played but it didn't detract from the experience too much.
