4/19/2013 - Nice course, good value and good conditions. Was a little out of my way but worth the drive and we would return again. Posted by Bruce (Dieppe, NB CANADA)

3/29/2013 - This is fantastic golf course, well worth the 4.5 golf digest stars. With 6 different sets of tees it tries to suit all kinds of golfers. We had a fantastic day at this course. The condition was very good. The staff was friendly and its good with the complimentary range balls. Don't play this on your first day, its too good for that! If I have the chance, I will come back. Posted by Per (Eskilstuna, Sweden) (St. John'S, NL CANADA .)

11/11/2010 - Great Course. Excellent shape and play moved quickly. Posted by Thomas (Hillsborough, NJ)

10/23/2010 - No GPS or maps of holes at teeing area. Greens were average but some nice shaped holes. Lots of water carries some quite long. Very good value. Posted by Steve (St. John's, NL CANADA)

5/11/2010 - Loved the course. The drive from Tampa to course was not as long as thought it would be. Was worth the ride!!! Posted by George (West Orange, NJ)

3/28/2010 - Very good design. If fairways had been overseeded it would have been one of the best all week. Still good for the price. Posted by Brad (Cincinnati, OH)

3/20/2010 - Not a memorable opening hole but from two onwards it starts to get more interesting. Straightforward course in good shape for the time of year and well worth playing. Ratings justified and value for money. Posted by Bill (Flagler Beach, FL)

2/25/2010 - Nice course. One of the toughest courses I have played. Long and a lot of sand and waste bunkers. We had 40 mile winds. Challenging. Fairways were pretty thin but at this time of year I guess to be expected. 3.5 out of 5, would play again.
Posted by Brendan (Fenton, MO)

2/11/2010 - Great course, however, many of the members play from 5400 yds and we played from 6300 yds. They complained about thepace of play which we played in 4hrs and 10 minutes. Posted by Edward (Annapolis, MD)

3/20/2009 - We enjoyed this course. It was a bit on the difficult side but well maintained. This one may make the cut for next time. Posted by Dennis (Orange, MA)

3/16/2009 - Worth driving to Lakeland to play Eaglebrooke. Challenging but fun. Posted by Dave Mason

2/18/2009 - Excellent track and in great condition for February in Florida. Staff and even some members were friendly and welcomed us as guests of their club. Well worth the price and drive to Lakeland. Posted by Andy (Pittsburgh, PA)

12/15/2008 - I love this course, very challenging but fair. If you play well you can score. Has five sets of tee boxes, plenty of water and sand. Great finishing hole. I have family in Lakeland and it is a MUST play every visit. Posted by Chuck.

3/4/2008 - Our group loves Eaglebrooke. Played tough in the wind. Good greens. Worth the trip to Lakeland. Posted by Don (Brighton, IL)

This eighteen hole course is very challenging. Water hazards come into play on fourteen of the eighteen holes, and several sand bunkers can be found throughout the design. The fairways feature rolling terrain, and the greens are challenging, due to the sloping and the undulations. The facility also features a complete golf training facility, including a 22,000-square foot putting green and a state-of-the-art driving range.

Eaglebrooke Golf Club, rated 4 1/2 stars by Golf Digest and located in Lakeland (halfway between Orlando and Tampa), is considered one of the premier golf courses in Florida. Its classic links-style design with over 100-ft. of elevation change is unique in this part of the state. Natural lakes, abundant with wildlife, can come into play on 11 of the 18 holes, creating both spectacular scenery and challenging golf shots. To increase the challenge, there are six sets of tees on each hole. Longest being 7,039 down to 5,000 for beginners. The "senior" tees were custom designed for the course by architect Ron Garl. Garl requested Senior Golf Magazine to survey seniors for optimal playing preferences and then included these requests in the course design.
