8/22/2008 - The course was beautiful. It had rained the night before and we were cart path only most of the first round. We finished under 5 hours despite having to walk across all of the fairways, but were hounded consistently to pick up the pace. Posted by Tom (Huntersville, NC).

Directions from Generic Directions:
Fleming Island Golf Course is located in Jacksonville on SR
17, south of I-295 and west of I-95.
From the I-95 / I-295 (exit 337 - I-295 south entrance going
north!) intersection: Take I-295 north over the Buckman
Bridge to exit 10 (US 17).
Take US 17 south to the Fleming Island Development on your
right hand side (approx. 8 miles from the I-295 / US 17
intersection). Turn right and follow the signs to the
pro-shop.
Directions from morning round:
Please ask the pro-shop staff for the quickest route to your
afternoon round.
