5/11/2010 - We liked this course a lot. Had two good golfers and two average. All enjoyed. Rough not punitive. Long enough to air it out. Good challenge. We thought this is a good warm up course before trying something more challenging, but don't assume it's easy. Will play again. Posted by Wallace (Memphis, TN)

3/11/2010 - Last hole was the best, an island green. You know where my ball went, ger plunk! It must of been the thunder and torrential rain that caused the ball to hit the water. Fun course. Pretty too. Posted by Eileen (Tyngsborough, MA)

3/4/2010 - It was an okay course but that was because it was our first course of the trip. Would not play it again. It was in the middle of town and felt like it. Posted by Chuck (Lasalle, IL)

11/19/2009 - Decent course. I don't think it was worth the money compared to Jacaranda that was the same price. Posted by Gary (Milton, ON)

5/29/2009 - This more than likely was a "premier" course in its day. A little tathered around the edges, but quite an interesting course. Posted by Terry (Naples, FL)

3/23/2009 - The course was freindly. The club house was nice and the sunday lunch was great. Posted by Joe (Northville, MI)

2/21/2009 - Nice course. Not one of the top courses, but okay for a quick weekend trip. The course showed some need for maintenance, but the Bermuda grass had been burnt from a cold spell and they may have needed to let it alone for a while. Would do it again as a first stop of a package. Great staff and food.

6/5/2008 - Awesome golf course. The greens were in perfect shape. I'll play that one again and cheap too. Posted by Eric (Southampton, Bermuda).

6/5/2008 - Nice course to play. Lots of water. Greens and overall conditions were good. Good value for the money. Posted by Bill (Flagler Beach, FL).

6/3/2008 - Nice golf course. Posted by Curtis (Mitchellville, MD).

5/19/2008 - Great golf course and again very kind people. Posted by Francis (Phoenix, AZ).

5/1/2008 - Has to be one of your better courses, don''t let the area fool you, this is class all the way. Tough track to. Posted by Garry (Garland, TX).

3/27/2008 - Enjoyed the course. Good value for the money. The Island Green Bar and Grill was great with excellent service.
Posted by Alvin (Chicago, IL).

3/27/2008 - Interesting golf course, in good condition. Accommodating and friendly staff. Pace of play was good. Posted by George (Narberth, PA).

3/19/2008 - Hard course. Greens quite fast, all in all, a tough track for a 15 handicapper. Posted by Paul (Mclean, VA).

3/7/2008 - Very fast greens (which I like) - 10.5 on the stimp meter. Some of the greens were not in very good shape. Same with the fairways. Would not care to play this course again. Posted by Steve (Sebring, FL).

2/7/2008 - Very nice course. The 18th is very challenging. Posted by Gary.

2/3/2008 - Very nice 18 hole layout in an older golf course community. Staff treated us very nicely. Practice range was a bit scruffy. Posted by Jazz.

12/12/2007 - 7 on a 1-10 scale. It was good for what we paid. Posted by Tom (Blue Bell, PA).

12/12/2007 - Great public golf course! Well shaped holes, and contoured greens. Clubhouse could use some work but for the price it's a great value. Would definitely play there again. Posted by BWD.

About Hillcrest Country Club

Opened in 1967, this Hollywood golf course is an ageless Devlin/Von Hagge Design that has matured into a classic layout. In the summer of 2000, famed architect "Gentleman" Joe Lee was asked to redesign Hillcrest Country Club's championship course. Joe Lee added mounding, new sand traps, improved tee boxes, new lakes and gave the green complexes a whole new look while maintaining many of the classic features of the course. The par 72, 7,076-yard layout reopened in May of 2001 to rave reviews. The layout is friendly yet challenging to golfers of all skill levels. The beautifully maintained TifEagle greens, lush landscaping and pristine lakes will appeal to all discerning golfers. The signature 18th hole provides an exciting conclusion to your round of golf with an island green surrounded with a bulkhead.
